Dr. Fred Abeles is the Director and founder of the Atlanta Center for TMJ and an expert in TMJ treatment.

Patients travel from across the United States, Canada and abroad to Atlanta for his care.

He is the Regional Director for the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, one of the most prestigious post-graduate teaching centers in North America. Dr. Abeles takes great care to diagnose, educate and treat his patients. He takes the time to listen and answer all questions thoroughly. The entire staff is a delight to be around! They listen, answer questions and provide treatment with professionalism and kindness. I noticed a dramatic improvement after the first 2-4 weeks of treatment. I highly recommend Atlanta Center for TMJ!
I wish you guys offered LOW COST or FREE consultations for people that want to get more information to just see if this is a good fit for them. I had an initial call with Sandra, and honestly she was so rude when I asked questions because she didn't know the answer. I specifically wanted to know how this type of therapy is any different from seeing a chiropractor who is manually adjusting my jaw and her only response was "i mean have you read our reviews?" If you're going to charge someone $200 for a consultation and you can't even answer basic questions on MIRO therapy and how it works, maybe you shouldn't be the one scheduling consultations. I've dealt with TMJ issues for over a decade. I know what I'm talking about. & Sandra's lack of education on the matter was a little insulting. A company is more than just reviews. If that's all you go off of, good luck to you. I work in marketing and your website literally screams "we are going to scam you and take all your money".
I am so thankful for the treatment I received at the Atlanta Center for TMJ. Dr. Abeles and his team are very knowledgeable about the best and most appropriate methods to reduce jaw pain and chronic headaches. I love the positive attitudes and reassurances I experienced at each visit. I highly recommend the Atlanta Center for TMJ!
Dr. Abeles, Angie, Becky, Cindy, and Sandra are very knowledgeable and caring! From the moment I came in, Ms. Sandra did all she could to be friendly, helpful, and answer questions. From there, you get to meet the rest of the staff and find out how amazing they are at their jobs! I thank God that Dr. Abeles cared enough about the problems that TMJ can cause in a person's every day life that he became an expert in this field! I am getting better every day and I will forever be thankful for each of them!!
Echoing the other great sentiments, Dr. Abeles and Sandra were absolutely wonderful! Sandra was very clear in her introductory instructions and had a warm demeanor. Dr. Abeles was also very kind and thorough throughout the consultation. After describing to him that my symptoms were resolving, he suggested for me to just continue what I was doing, and did not try to push any unnecessary treatments. Highly recommend!
Just do it! After 7 doctors couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me…this team came to my rescue. I had horrible migraines and ear pain every day of my life. Fast forward 8 months and I am virtually pain free. This team is amazing! Thank you!

We didn’t have a great experience at the office. We spent 90 min there just to hear the education and sales pitch, but with no plan on what is wrong other than that we have to come back for a scan and spend another $550. I’m so sick that we spent $200 on an initial visit, and need to spend $550 for another visit to then find out our 8 month plan will be $7000. The whole experience was beyond crazy.
I came in at age 72 on recommendation of my dentist. I had suffered TMJ on and off for years. After receiving a custom made mouthpiece, I began wearing it night and day except for brushing teeth and cleaning mouthpiece. I noticed improvement right away. I have had no pain at all for some months after zi began treatment a year ago.
In just a few month, Dr. Abeles and his staff have been able to eliminate almost all of my TMJ pain. Everyone in this office is friendly and welcoming. They are also extremely good at what they do. I always look forward to my visit because I know I will enjoy my time there and feel better when I leave!
