We spent our Sunday Morning volunteering down at ACFB and Rich and his fellow group leaders are some of the nicest people you will ever meet! I’m planning on making this a monthly thing as we enjoyed it so much. The whole building is really nice and clean
Came to Volunteer with Atlanta’s Yelp Community & always feels good to contribute. Before moving into the Hunger Action Center - HAC, all volunteers goes through a quick Volunteer Training. DL, Ree-Ree & the entire AFCB team were so kind & welcoming. The guidelines are strict yet with ACFB leaders on stand by, it provided us with an easy blueprint to follow. I was part of the pack & label group & the four us had a great tempo going. The HAC is spacious with massive boxes of products to assemble & donate. We ended up packing 14,764 pounds of food = 12,303 meals. Happy to have volunteered & support ACFB’s mission. Looking forward to returning to volunteer again.
I had an amazing opportunity to volunteer here this past Saturday and to say it was a true blessing is an understatement. The facility is absolutely beautiful, the employees made you feel welcome and it clearly shows that they live what they do. Donald is hilarious and was the “MC” who kept was entertained while we waiting to get started. I will definitely visit again to give back to a truly AMAZING cause.
A great experience volunteering! Very organized and high impact in a just a few hours! Great for individuals, small and large groups looking to do a good activity together. The facility is brand new, huge, and really nice.
Our family volunteered together here with Elite Women of Excellence EWOE! It was a fulfilling experience! The staff was fun! We did a tour and a simulation which brings things to reality for those blessed to not have food insecurity. We learned a lot and worked a lot. Our contribution will provide 6k pounds of food for local community residents. Volunteer today!
Volunteering at the Atlanta community food Bank will be one of the best experiences you can have. If you're looking to have fun with some great people come and volunteer here. Atlanta community food Bank truly cares about the community that surrounds it and they have great people keeping everything in order. As I was serving I couldn't help but to dance and enjoy myself throughout the time. My passion is serving and even though I don't live in the community I felt the connection. Go visit with a group or just by yourself, they will surely let you serve.
Had a great time volunteering yesterday ! In house staff were insightful and passionate about the mission of serving food insecurity families and people !
Amazing opportunity for volunteering! They are organized and energetic, they make it fun to help feed our area's food insecure with the safety of the volunteers and the recipients at the forefront
Amazing operation run by wonderful people. Loved the opportunity to help support. Will be returning to volunteer again.
This is just a great place that's doing great things fur Atlanta and the surrounding area. Whether you're donating your time, money or food here this place is great. I went here with my co workers and we all had a blast packing boxes for senior citizens. Who knew it could be so fun
