"Located in the historic East Atlanta Community, the Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam is the largest and oldest Islamic community in Metro Atlanta. We are a community of believers adhering to the Qur’an and the life traditions of Prophet Muhammad Peace and Blessing Be Upon Him. We are in association with the leadership and vision of Imam W. Deen Mohammed 1933 – 2008, may Allah be pleased with him. Imam Sulaimaan Hamed is the director and Resident Imam of the Masjid. The Atlanta Masjid is blessed to be supported by four generations of Muslims who are fully engaged residents of Georgia and the United States of America."

Superb place to get a balanced presentation of Islam. Extremely welcoming group of people who obviously put family, community and spirituality at the forefront of their lives. This place is without a doubt a jewel for the Atlanta community. Drop by, I'm sure you won't regret it.
Asa, iI have been attending jummah here for 30 years wow! its like a family. You have up & downs. Members of the fanily you love & some you argue with. However overall your family will always be there for you when your ready to come home & your family will always love u no matter what! Great place to pray, learn, find peace & a true Muslim comminity!
Salamalaykum, this is my first Friday at the masjid in Islam we have no hate, and I saw that with the Your guest speaker trying to spreading hate, and that’s nothing Islam the khatabah aljameuh Not qualified for any Muslim. I was embarrassed to hear his hate
This Masjid has a very strong feeling of family. As a visitor from out of town, I can say I felt welcomed.
I love this place every time I go. It feels like home great atmosphere wonderful people. It's very humbling.
I love the Atlanta Masjid! Community events and involvement is unprecedented. There’s always room for anyone to get involved. I do have a few suggestions, but I will take them up with imams; they are very accessible, and open to suggestions and constructive criticism.
Jumah here was the experience of a lifetime. We were welcomed as if we were not strangers. The parking lot transforms into a shopping bazar. There is also a hala restaurant, butcher shop, boutique, and barbershop. The feeling to pray and be amongst Muslims who looked like me was priceless
Great place to make prayer, worship, fellowship, take classes and be a part of a loving, thriving community.
Extremely excellent lectures every Friday. I love everything about the people and the community in general.
Great people. Lots of love for everyone. Best experience ever. Best place to pray in Atlanta
