ATLANTA PAL Mission:
The Atlanta Police Athletic League (PAL) is a nonprofit charitable 501 (c) (3) organization that was established as a community partnership between the Atlanta Police Department (APD) and the business Community in 1983. Atlanta PAL serves youths ages 8-18 years by implementing constructive, carefully planned athletic and academic activities that teach moral, civic, academic, and social principles to at-risk youths in a safe and nurturing environment. The Atlanta PAL operates three (2) separate facilities in inner city Atlanta. It supports 2,800 youths annually through programs such as the Summer Leadership Camp, Traditional Youth Summer Camp, Youth Athletic Leagues, and After School Programs & Tutorials.
