As an advocate for abused children, I am pleased to see the professionalism and dedication shown by the The Atlantic City Police Department. Thank you on behalf of abused children worldwide. Keep standing in the gap and continue to take those who prey on our children off of the streets. May God bless each of you and keep you safe!
Fantastic job officers for taking predator catchers seriously! Police are spread thin and any help from predator hunters give the officers time to continue to serve the people of Atlantic City. Predators need to be off the street, as they are unfixable, and predator catchers, working with police is a great opportunity to do that. Thank you Atlantic City Police for a job well done!
Atlantic City Cops are the best force I've seen today. I respect them immensely for the fact the care about our children. Thank you Atlantic City Police for setting a precedence on how honest Police enforce the law.

The AC police are the heroes of this story. It was Thursday, 8/4/2022, at 1:15 a.m. I was staying at some friends' place while they were out of town, enjoying their balcony and doing my remote job on my laptop. When I tried to get back in, I found I was locked outside, with no house key, no car key, and worst of all no phone. No neighbors or people were around. And I was a diabetic. I spent about 30 minutes trying to find different ways to get into the house, with no luck. I emailed my friends in Philly, but they never responded, 'cuz normal people are asleep at 1:45 a.m. I resigned myself to either waiting till morning when maybe someone would walk by, hopefully carrying a ladder or to waiting two days until Saturday, when my friends would come home. Anyway, I finally got hold of a sister in Cali who was able to contact the Atlantic City Police...who showed up amazingly fast. Not just one officer, but THREE. They lent me a tool to jimmy open the door, but no luck. We considered getting the Fire Dept. to bring a ladder. We considered smashing a window or a door even though my friends would kill me. Then one of them Officer Gilardi managed to climb onto the balcony and tried his darnedest to force the door open, again with no luck. The other officers, Officers Johnson and Sanchez, stood on the ground below, reassuring me that I was not being a total a--hole by calling the police for something so ridiculous. Anyway, the upshot is that Officer Gilardi was finally able to unlock the balcony doorknob with a method that shall not be described here, and I was safely inside. No need to worry about a diabetic coma or frying like bacon waiting for my friends to come home. No need to strategize about peeing in their lovely balcony plant before the sun came out. No nothing--I was inside only about 65 minutes after I got stuck. Thanks again, Officers Gilardi, Johnson, and Sanchez!! Thanks also to the dispatcher, Camryn or Kamryn?, who my Cali sister said was amazingly professional and caring and didn't treat us like idiots. Whoo-hoo, AC Police Dept.! Dang, that was embarrassing though.
Thanks for caring! Wish more departments and DAs were as proactive and serious about saving kid's lives as you!
