Good company to work for. Managers always listening to what employees have to say about the job and take actions when needed. The pay is great for the type of work required. Great benefits as well such as dental, vision, healthcare, stocks, 401k, quarterly bonuses, paid break and hourly raises. Coworkers are nice and friendly, great team work. Management often feed us with hot and cold meals to reward us for our work. most of the people that works there have been loyal to the company for 10+ years. The schedule is amazing, 14 days of work in a month which allows to enjoy life. they as well offer OVERTIME to anyone that needs it. MICROCHIP was a great experience for me and definitely recommend it to anyone that is looking for a carrier instead of a job. No experience needed, they will train you!

The manager are so bad there 3 months late on a year review, took them almost 6 months just to get my password for the company email to get fix

Absolutely terrible place to work! In my personal and professional experiences, treat new ppl like garbage run by old engrained management from days of Atmel. Profit driven pressures and hi-turn over rates. They fired my friend over a phone call the day after his wedding with no notice or anything and he lost everything over it. He had just had a new baby also...very intentional timing... He even wrote letter to CEO asking for help and answers... he never heard a word from anyone. Disgusting! This was one of worst representations of human business compassion / treatment I've ever seen!

It's a great company to work for. There are some awesome people here... they are very veteran friendly, and there are so many opportunities for advancement. I feel so grateful to be able to be among these kind folks.

I have a good experience here before. The old name was ATMEL. When did it change? Can be honored to work with good people, many thanks to the consideration and care always worked great. It is also worthwhile as I got a little bit, but work and working in such a good place nearby after the visit a lot of good places. If you have a chance visit again.

They hate veterans and leave ppl with newborns homeless

Disappointed that on Feb, 29, 2012 Atmel advocated against the interests of local higher education institutions, military bases, residents the majority of which supported the proposal and clean tech development by opposing a Colorado Springs Utilities purchase of 50 MW of wind energy. No way to be a corporate citizen to a community that’s treated them well.

Extensive furlough days have created grounds for unfair and non-legitimate grounds for terminations. The companies refusal to do lay-offs to avoid having to pay out severance is pushing supervisors to selectively report known to be false accusations for termination of lower level employees.

Income and benefits provided to me for over 26 years
