I am incredibly disappointed because I have been a client of Dori's for 6 years. A few months ago I asked Dori to do a balayage rose gold/rose brown color. We discussed and she indicated that it may take a year to achieve. This did not sit well as I usually change my color monthly. She claimed that she didn't want damage my hair. My first visit I was at the salon for 5 hours while she used the Malibou treatment to strip some of my color and then added various reds. As seen pictures one and two.The second month was more or less the same results. More streaky red. I became very frustrated. My third and final appointment in early May was the straw that broke the camels back. My hair was NOTHING like what I had asked for! I felt that Dori possibly didn't know how to to create what I was asking for. This was upsetting because I had poured hundreds of dollars over the past 3 months to achieve a look that she wasn't giving me. I also felt that I was being taken advantage of by paying for something that I didn't want. Also never offered to fix it. She was inconsistent with her style and color pricing. My price changed every month. I never knew what to expect. Even though I was getting virtually the same tint/cut/highlights & brows. Or just tint & brows every other month. I then decided enough was enough. I canceled my June appointment and went to another stylist 2 weeks later. My new stylist said that my color was blotchy and streaky with oranges & reds and nothing looked good! After 4 hours with my new stylist, picture no. 3. She was able to achieve exactly what I asked for in the first session. Dori is good with basic color/tint and highlights. She clearly doesn't quite grasp balayage yet. With that said Dori should should have been honest, upfront about her knowledge of the technique and charged accordingly.
Dori has been cutting my hair for 18+ years. I have followed her to 3 different salons over the years and now at her very own place, Atmosphere. I am always pleased with my Haircut and Dori does everything to make it right. Best place in town, I highly recommend it!Service: Haircut
Stephanie was amazing!!!! We were recommended by a friend of a friend ...for a stylist that does fun colors! My daughter wanted pink shades throughout her hair for her 17 bday! She couldn't be happier! Loves it! Stephanie was so kind and professional, gave us options and ideas. Beautiful.. can't say enough wonderful things about Stephanie!
Christopher is the reason we come to this salon. Can't beat his styles and cuts! Paul rocks it out as well! The atmosphere is bright and enlightening and the stylists are positive and upbeat. It's hard to walk out without a smile on your face!
This is my second post. I see Stephanie and recently took the plunge and got highlights for the first time and I am thrilled. I have gotten a lot of compliments! I've seen Stephanie for about 8 years and I am always happy with my hair. She is excellent and I highly recommend her.
Megan at Atmosphere is fantastic! I was recently in a wedding and the first salon I went to with the bridal party left my hair looking very unfinished, and me in a hair panic! I went up to Atmosphere and Megan was able help! She did a great job, I had many compliments all night on my hair. I highly recommend Megan and the stylists at Atmosphere , it is a great salon!
Stephanie was wonderful. I was a half an hour late and she still took me and was nice about it!. I didn't wait at all and I felt like I had her full attention. She was professional and personable. I love my cut and color! I will return.
Stephanie did a beautiful job with cutting and coloring my hair! I originally had hair down to my waist that was poorly bleached with long dark roots. I asked her to cut my hair short but I was very worried that I would be unhappy with my decision to cut it off! Stephanie was very kind and patient with me through the whole process! When she was done with the cut, it looked absolutely stunning and I never second guessed my decision! Next, she made the transition from my dark roots to the blonde hair look much more natural. She pulled some of the blonde up higher and corrected the brassy yellow color of my hair for a more natural blonde color! I was amazed by how it looked! She did a wonderful job with my hair and I couldn't be happier! She was professional and really took the time to understand what I was looking for. I would highly recommend Stephanie!
I've been seeing Dori for several years and my hair has never looked better. Recently, to switch things up a bit, I tried NBR extensions. My hair looks and feels awesome!!! I'm super happy with the results and would highly recommend them. Everyone at Atmosphere is great - a relaxed & welcoming salon with talented stylists!
I’ve been seeing Liz for years and can’t say enough about her. We’ve done everything from long and dark with extensions, to shorter with balayage and highlights . She is constantly seeking new knowledge and techniques when it comes to her craft. Liz is a master of cutting The Bob my hair lays perfect every.single.time, keratin treatments life changing for my frizzy hair, dimensional color I’ve been black, brown, red, blonde and everything in between. She has focused on maintaining the health of my hair and been honest about the process and costs it will take to achieve my desired results, *blow outs* SO good!! They last days...plus, she gives an amazing scalp massage, and everything in between. She’s always accommodating, kind, fun, and very professional. GO SEE LIZ!!! You won’t be disappointed!!
