Attucks Park

I've been here multiple times and it's always lovely. It's generally not terribly busy and I always have a good time. Picnic area: The picnic area was nice and fairly well maintained

My grandson loved playing under the buckets. We will definitely bring him back to get his feet wet.

My daughter has such a wonderful time in the splash area, which is a joy to watch. We have encountered some really nice people and it’s a good place to let the kids burn energy. I left off a star because the playground could use more mulch since it is very muddy the day after rain. Also, there are occasional cars parked on the grass and very probable illegal activity. While my experience has been that people don’t bother you, safety concerns still loom since bystanders are unintentionally victimized too often. These concerns are seemingly less prevalent earlier in the day.

Great place to hangout and this park has a ground to play cricket as well. Only place in Carbondale to play outdoor cricket

Thanks to all who work so hard to make Attucks Park Carbondale Illinois a beautiful and peaceful recreational resort, and even working on making improvements. More so, keeping still functional during the pandemic as many facilities are abandoned. Great job! This is a great place to visit with your family and friends for a picnic and cook out and bring your children and walk your dog and even engage in various sporting activities and games like basketball, cricket, soccer etc. Now, here's the best News ever! For all have sinned; all fall short of God's glorious standard. Yet, God in his gracious kindness declares us not guilty. He has done this through Christ Jesus, who has freed us by taking away our sins. Romans 3:23,24. What an amazing demonstration of loving kindness! That's the exceptional, incredible love God has for you. Repent of your sins, give your life to Jesus Christ and enter into God's glorious family right now. Please don't delay. Prayerfully look for a Church where Jesus Christ and righteousness are preached, believed and lived, or practiced, and then get totally committed serving God there. You'd be glad you did, that's for sure!

Three year old kiddos had a blast. Quite a bit of garbage on the ground, but that really just contributed to my need to tell at my kids and did nothing to diminish their good time. Really nice people hanging out at the park. A real community vibe, which is very cool when you've moved to a new town. We'll be coming back soon!

Nasty needles and drug paraphernalia on the ground! Water park wasn't usuable. Other patrons without children made it VERY uncomfortable there! We left after about 5 minutes. Used to be one of our favorite parks! Wouldn't reccomend now!

Live the water park section. Spraying water skyward and cooling anyone wanting it. The pavion is huge. And very clean kept and nice. No eye sores in the distance in any direction. A nice tree line in one direction stretches off into the horizon. I loved it. Two thumbs up. Grills are provided as well. So bring the grill brush and some foil.

You should go there it’s amazing but don’t go there if it was a rainy day the day before because it will be all wet

I give it a 5 in the daylight because i he kids love it and night I give a 3 cuz you never know what's gonna happen so you have GOT to ALWAYS STAY AWARE..
