I am out to find the best chicken sandwich....this was a disappointment. I will say this was the best chicken in a sandwich that I've had, just the right breading and crisp fried outside with not dried out inside. However they put a red dressing on it, almost like a Catalina French dressing, this definitely does not belong, it made the sandwich sweet and awful. The house potato chips come as a side, I would choose to upgrade to fries or onion rings for additional charge. The chips are fried extra long almost burnt but not black. When I was going to place and order, the attendant let me know of all the things they were out of, I jokingly said it would probably be easier to tell me what you do have. The patio is lovely, however there is no shade umbrellas so be prepared for full sun on days when it shines. To sit on the patio, you do need to go inside to place and order, then they'll give you a number and bring the food out to you.
Excellent place to enjoy with friends and family. This location was renovated from a old church and has so much history and beauty with the stone facade and stained glass windows. Bartendar was great and so was the atmosphere. Didnt dine in today, only drinks but I will return for more of what they have to offer.
We went here for Sunday brunch with our 2 pups. The patio was beautiful with stakes next to the tables for the leashes. The staff were attentive to both us and our pups, making sure they had a cup of cold water on this warm Sunday morning. My husband and I each had the Breakfast Burrito, mine without cheese, and we loved it. The chipotle mayo was a delicious addition to the burrito. For drinks, I had the Prickly Pear Vodka soda and my husband enjoyed a beer I can't remember the name. We will definitely return in the future.
I had such a great time hang out at Atwater. It was our first time there and the bartender Holly was so cool. She not only introduced us our new favorite beer, but she also gave us grate recommendations on my upcoming trip to the UK. If you ever get the pleasure of sitting at the bar with her as your server ask her about her travels she has been everywhere!!! Over all 10/10 experience great food, beer, and people.
We had a great time this afternoon!!! Jennifer was awesome!! She was knowledgeable on all the different beers and a lot of fun!! Super cool place. The mustard is delicious!!!! The mint double decadent was incredible!!! The little petty Shandy was so refreshing!!! Can't wait to come back!!!
Went in for lunch on a spring day. Nice outdoor and indoor seating. Built in an old church, nice decor on the inside. Food was okay for what we tried. Party of four got in no problems around 2pm. Wait staff was friendly and trained well. Filled up on appetizers. Not much of a menu. As always we got the soft pretzel as accompanied with our Philadelphia friend ranking the soft pretzel as pretty good. Pics show options. Pizza was ok, good for a loose vegetarian guest. Truffle fries didn't meet expectations at all. Really just a place for beer which they have a full round bar backed by church stained glass. Fun for a brewery. Met expectations. As a foodie I'll give it 3 stars for what it was and had to offer.
The building is incredible and this place has so much potential. We had dinner there yesterday and the food was terrible. Cold. Burnt. And bad service. Way over priced for the quality of food and service. On a positive note the beer was tasty. Overall this place definitely has potential. Need new ownership or management.
The staff here are so amazing . Like everytime I come they make me feel so welcomed no matter what I wear or how shy I am . They are just a breathe of fresh air . The lady w the turquoise hair was such a pleasure today , full of kindness . I always tip more than planned lol. They have really good vegetarian options . I am a new fan of the veggie brats sausage with the pretzel bun . Great place and vibe no matter what day of the week .
Absolutely gorgeous brewery. It was built in an old church and they left the stained glass windows and other touches within. There was a nice outdoor patio as well. Plenty of delicious drinks and the food was very good. The brewers bread was delectable and the pizza was solid. Would like to come back and try more of the menu!
Had the gluten free vegan pizza this time. It was ok.... It was nice to have vegan chorizo and vegan cheese. The crust was very under done on the bottom, and around the edges, well done. It kind of reminded me of a hot-pocket in flavor, which was a cool throwback. Features: No restrictions
