Peaceful place, good for hikes steep but not too difficult, prayer and meditation, lots of space for parking, has restrooms, skatepark is adjacent, can recommend
Good hiking trails located above American river. Skatepark was not open but it looks like it has some good bowls and street style options. Unfortunately it was smoky from fires in Tahoe area.
Great access to hiking trails with great views and elevation as you descend into the ravine immediately and steeply. Parking lot is shared with a skate park that is tucked away in a hillside /swale and is irrelevant once you hit the trail.
I just started exploring the trails here. It's like moderate to intermediate. Nice views overlooking the canyon and the river.

Great trail. Very step sections with views. Some trees down but signs that crews have been clearing fallen trees. Wish the trail had more markers at trail splits.
A great place to start a run, so many different trails to run Just watch out foe the Snakes.
Park is nice, went for the hike. Free parking, great area with spectacular views.
Great place to spend the day. Has a skate park. Has plenty of trails to walk down next to the river. This is the perfect spot to have lunch or a picnic with a view. Nice place with plenty of grass cover. Has bathrooms and water faucets. I will definitely be going back to this place. Oh and did I mention a great view!!!!!
