About
The Connecticut state office of the National Audubon Society.
Description
Where birds thrive, people prosper.
Mission
Our mission is to further the protection of birds, other wildlife and their habitats through science, education, advocacy, and conservation, for the benefit of humanity and the earth's biological diversity.
We envision a Connecticut with a rich and diverse natural heritage, where there is ample habitat for birds and other wildlife, where a majority of its people appreciate and participate in their natural environment, and whose children are educated and motivated to become the conservation leaders of tomorrow.
"Our center building will be temporarily CLOSED to the public beginning Sunday, August 21st as we transition from our Summer activities to our Fall Programming. However, our trails will remain OPEN seven days a week from dawn to dusk.
