Connecting Children with Science and Nature
Audubon offers a broad array of programs, classes, camps, and special events throughout the year for people of all ages. Families, retirees, school groups, scouts, garden clubs and many more enjoy discovering the natural world with Audubon.
In-School programs allow our educators to bring the wonders of nature right to your school, where your students can experience nature-based science inquiry programs, all in the comfort of their own classroom.
Audubon Environmental Education
Center in Bristol encourages students to explore nature, make discoveries and ask questions. Students explore the exhibits, participate in hands on activities and venture into our 28-acre outdoor classroom containing freshwater wetlands, fields, and the rocky shore of Narragansett Bay.
Outdoor Field Explorations offer students
the opportunity for a first-hand investigation of
wetlands, fields, forests, ponds, and streams. These are offered at Audubon wildlife refuges in and around Rhode Island.
After School Enrichment excites students
about science and nature through inquiry learning that is fun and engaging. There are a variety of program options to fit your needs.
Audubon’s Teacher Resources include
professional development workshops, resource
materials for you to borrow and consulting services to enhance your schoolyard habitat.
Audubon's Scout Programs are designed to meet badge or merit requirements for Girl Scouts USA and Boy Scouts of America. Simply
tell us what badge you are working on and we will tailor a program to meet your requirements.
