Dr. Reed is a good doctor that is extremely knowledgeable, especially with regards to dietary and nutritional advice. This can be a HUGE plus when in decent shape and wanting to maintain or improve your health lower blood pressure, or cholesterol, etc. Unfortunately, he's trapped in an extremely poorly run medical outfit. I cannot say enough about Dr. Reed or his nurse. They are both great. His nurse is very compassionate and is willing to listen to everything you want to share - Dr. Reed does this, as well, but after about 10 minutes it becomes obvious that he's under pressure to get out of your room to go visit someone else - like most insurance strapped doctors, I'm sure he has 25+ more people to see today to keep his doors open, and you will feel like it. The office is typically clean and the exam rooms are adequate. There's almost always at least one, or two other people waiting. I have had to see Dr. Snodgrass when Dr. Reed was out of the office. I won't go into details, but personally, I would avoid seeing her at all costs. My experience with Dr. Snodgrass left me feeling like I would have been better off going to a walk in clinic. I have not seen any other doctors at this practice, but the bigger problem here is that these doctors are part the Augusta Medical Group, which is tied to the larger atrocity that is "Augusta Health". In my time as a patient, I've had "stat" imaging orders written that Augusta Health can't accommodate for WEEKS. I've had orders for monitoring devices written wrong by the doctors that the scheduling folks at the specialists office told me were wrong, yet then proceeded to say they would wait for the doctor to send it just so they could reject it - and I'd go to the back of the queue to wait ANOTHER two weeks to be scheduled. It's obscene how poorly run Augusta Health is. I'm quit sure the Virginia Department of Health would have a field day going through this place. If you're healthy and want good preventative care, go see Dr. Reed. He'll help you get your diet in shape and will recommend good practices to stay healthy. If you're sick and he needs to send you into the larger AH establishment for testing lab work, imaging, etc be prepared to fight for appointments and to be persistent in pushing for results. If you have any sort of lingering situation or a chronic condition, I would absolutely consider going to UVA or Sentara over in Charlottesville.
I really like Dr. Reed. He actually listens to the patient. He's very prompt in returning messages as is his nurse. If I need a refill of my medications they do it promptly. Doctor Reed is not one to rush to put people on medications. He will try other methods first such as diet exercise and treating the entire body. I like a physician who does not rush to put people on medications for every little thing. The staff has always been nice to me.
I was told my appointment would need to be rescheduled due to the Dr. Davies being ill. The appointments I am being offered are an additional 6 months from the appointment I scheduled, even though I’ve already waited 6 months. According to the receptionist, this is due to the doctor refusing to allow that space in her schedule. I called every day for a week to find this information out. Please do not waste your money on subpar care.
Horrible office. I missed a appointment on the account my daughter was in the hospital and had to be transferred to another. At the time I had forgot to call and reschedule my appointment. Just received a very nasty message from doctor reeds nurse .
Tiffany Greenberg is my doctor I love her! She actually listens and takes time ... I feel comfortable with her and don't feel judged! I recommend her!
Terrible at returning and answering phone calls. No matter what time of day you call, it seems that no one ever answers the phone. They are quick to recommend MyChart for correspondence but never bother to read your message or respond to it. I had a prescription refill request sent to the office and they denied it with no explanation to the pharmacy. I had to call, wait several days for a response, until I finally had to call again and luckily got through in order to get an answer. During visits with the doctor, I felt rushed and spent on average 10-15 minutes with the doctor before he left.
Tiffany Greenberg is a far cry from competent medical care. She comes to appointments unprepared and then blows off your questions because she is unprepared. Takes a visit and several calls to refill all of your prescriptions, when refills were the only reason for the appointment. Takes several calls to her office to get direction on medication adjustments after lab work. Does not seem to listen to all of what the patient says, only catches about half. Confusion about referrals and the reasons for the referral, which leads to back and forth calls between patient, specialist and Tiffany’s office, up to two weeks before appointment can be made with the specialist due to all of the confusion. Also, lack of knowledge about the side effects of common drugs on specific parts of the body. Takes the patient off necessary drugs because she is unsure of the impact of the drugs on organs. Whereas the specialist will put you back on them because there is no adverse reaction to organ in question. If you value your healthcare, do not use Tiffany as your primary care.
Tiffany Greenberg is awesome and such a great asset to healthcare. She is very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to get to the root of the problem. She has a way to make you feel comfortable even with issues most would consider embarrassing and minute. I believe she keeps my best interests in mind when it comes to my healthcare. I trust her completely and I feel like my health and wellness is her first priority. I would recommend her to anyone!
I liked my care while there for my appt, but today they called an hour before my husbands appt and canceled on us after he had already taken half the day off. We are losing money because of them having to reschedule. They also failed to save the updated phone numbers I gave them and called my parents number in attempt to reach me. They also never answer the phones, you have to keep calling over and over to get through. Poor customer service.
Terrible at returning calls. Still waiting from when I called about 6 months ago.... but yet I was stupid enough to call back this morning and attempt to schedule an appointment. Needless to say, hours later and still nothing. I've seen two doctors during my previous visits here that were knowledgeable and professional but both have since moved on. As another review stated, some of the staff is generally rude. ** I literally just called, as a new patient, to a different practice. They not only returned my call but I have an appointment scheduled....I suggest you do the same and call elsewhere.**
