Pleasant clean place to visit. Nice ocean view atmosphere. The food was delicious with ample portion sizes. Our server Katie was a pleasure.Very pleasant and engagingFood: 5/5
I have to say unfortunately we had bad experience here , we got clam cakes with no clams!!!! Wth, we order clam chowder that was like water, it was the worse . I'm from out of town , and every year I come to visit RI I have been trying to get in this place , it was such a huge disappointment, I will never go back or recommend ,.. should have just gone to Iggys, it really is a one star for the food
I have always loved Aunt Carrie's. I grew up in the area before I moved South. Cameron was our server and they were swamped. You'd never know it because he was so attentive and friendly. The fritters and chowder are THE BEST IN THE AREA. Hand's down.Food: 5/5
I’ve purchased a Seafood Box for$ 28.99and was very disappointed in the quality and quantity of the food. I also purchased a few other items when I got home and saw the onion rings, it was like dough fried up without the onions. I don’t think I will go back again. I spent $75.11 in total and I came too far to be disappointed I live in Connecticut. I don’t mind spending money on food as long as it taste good when I got home, I was sick to my stomach because I think the grease that they cooked with was old, it left a bitter taste in my mouth. When I showed him the piece of fish that was served in the seafood box, the girl asked what I’d like another piece I should’ve just asked for a refund because I was very very disappointment.

Stopped in on 9/8/23 for a, BLT Lobster sandwich on homemade bread, lemonade, and chips. I paid $42 for my meal and it was terrible. The sandwich was a mess. A clump of overcooked bacon, a ridiculous chunk of tomato, and bread so thick, I thought it had a BBL. I ended up just picking out the lobster meat and eating that, which was really good. All jokes aside, the lemonade was watery, and my bag of chips were stale. Although my meal bad, the kid at the counter was very nice, and my food came out quickly. The restaurant was also clean and organized. Please look into revising that sandwich to make it more appetizing. The bread is too thick, and bland, and needs mayo on each slice. Consider using a better cut of bacon, and make sure they are laid nicely on top of the lobster meat. Stop chopping the lettuce, but do chop the lobster, with a bit of celery, mayo, and season it with a pinch of salt and pepper. Please and thank you. I promise you, it’ll be a hit. Anyway, I won’t order that sandwich again and wouldn’t recommend it. Despite all that, I’d still come back next summer to try other things.
Aunt Carrie's is one of our favorite places for a laid back seafood meal. We love the clam cakes and chowder milk is our choice accompanied by a lobster roll. Fresh and tasty. You can dine in or order from their takeout window and enjoy your meal on one of many picnic tables. It's great families. For adults, you can take a cooler with your beverage of choice. You can order ice cream after dinner if you have room for dessert For those visiting, it's a beautiful location by the water. There is a walking path to the ocean right off the property. The ultimate summer experience that will become one of your family summer memories.
Staff was polite and friendly but the food was not good. I ordered the fried shrimp and they were small, tough, and very briney. They tasted frozen. I've had better shrimp from a Popeyes chicken. Its been about 30 min since we ate there and it is doing s number in my stomach. Would not recommend.Food: 1/5
The restaurant was about the closest to where we were staying. The atmosphere is stark, bordering on cold. Don't know if it is trying for a retro look, but not quite there. The service was quick and friendly. Our server took the time to go over the local craft beers available, and of course I had to go for Aunt Carrie's Pale Ale. It was excellent. My wife and I both ordered flounder sandwiches with Cole slaw and fries. The sandwiches were okay, but nothing to rave about. Cole slaw was good, but served in the tiniest amount that seems prevalent for the New England area. Fries were crisp and tasty. We were happy to have escaped for our dinner for less than $35, not including tip.
So today my family and I decided to try Aunt Carrie’s after the beach. It was our first time. We placed a take out order. The cashier was very nice. The food on the other hand was not it. My hubby and I ordered a fish and chip dinner. I’ve never seen a fish and chip look like the one I had today. I took a bite of the fish and I couldn’t even eat it. It has NO FLAVOR at all and it wasn’t even crispy fish either. So I brought it back inside and asked a young girl if this was even a fish and chip meal. She said yes. I said I’ve never saw a fish and chip in little pieces that were very thin. Anywhere I have ever ordered fish and chips from was a nice piece of cod or haddock. Had I know what your fish and chip consist of I would have never ordered that. The French fries were basic frozen fries and barely cooked as well. I even asked for our fries for all 4 meals to be cooked well. The wait was about 20 minutes not too bad. The staff was all nice I will say that. I also asked for two chicken finger kids meal. My kids liked there tenders so that’s good they were able to eat. I did reheat the fries and chicken a little in our air fryer to cook the fries a little longer. They were so soft and very light. I didn’t take a photo of our fish and chip dinners. I wish I did because he paid $30 for 2 fish and chip dinners and the portions for the fries and “fish” were so small.
