Description

Restaurant on the river open 7 days a week, full bar,lunch, dinner and all day Early Bird specials every day. Outside seating, Family restaurant, A lot of history with pictures. A great place to eat. The service is excellent. A nice relaxing atmosphere. We have a place for special events. We are able to do weddings, employee parties, and birthdays! Come and check us out!

Second time I've had the pleasure of eating here. Beautiful location, down by the river. They had live music on the patio. Inside was clean, and they were prompt in getting us seated. We had a large group of 10 around lunch, but we were served quickly and we're done in about 45 minutes, which I was happy with. The food was really good, I really like the shrimp basket, just a light breading, large shrimp,and great cooked steak fries
What an amazing restaurant with a wonderful view. This is some of the best seafood we have had. I had the grilled sampler platter, and everything was perfect. Everything was seasoned and cooked properly. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The wait staff was very friendly and efficient. You won't leave hungry. The proportions are quite generous.
The bread and butter while waiting is absolutely the BEST!!! Food was alright have had better shrimp & grits other places. Shrimp basket was really good. Seafood tacos were good as well. Felt like their fried green tomatoes appetizer was better than their entrees. Views are spectacular and drinks were good. Server was friendly. Kid-friendliness: Near the water and great family location to bring kids Parking: I believe the parking could be an issue at busy times like sunset and Sumner weekend evenings. Otherwise plenty of parking.
The shrimp was yummy. The tartar sauce was AMAZING - wonder if it’s homemade. The potato wedges are super good with the ranch they have. The cornbread was gummy and SUPER sweet, even the pepper one. The pumpkin was okay. The hush puppies were dry and honestly the worst I’ve ever had - I had to spit it into a napkin… The restaurant was clean and the waitress was super sweet and attentive. Not sure if we will return, as it is very expensive for what we got.
The home feel and accommodating staff were awesome. There was a stunt plane flying in the distance the location was off the busy highway so it was not overly busy. Had pagers for when your table was ready. Lots of comfortable seating inside and out. The food was great and came out quickly. I had the she crab soup highly recommend. The clam strips were perfect. And the blackened mahi tacos had just the right kick and zing. Followed by a peach cobbler it was a great experience. Two of my sons took me out for a special Mother's Day fun day and then dinner. They took me to Aunt Kate's for dinner and it was wonderful! The entire experience was fantastic! The restaurant and views are gorgeous and the food is delicious! I don't normally like tartar sauce but I LOVED theirs. I will definitely be returning!Food: 5/5
Some of the best she crab soup I have ever had. I mean, it was rich and creamy and full of chunks. The fish tacos were good, but would have been better with more pico/salsa. The calamari was really good and hit the spot. The real winner was the pumpkin bread though. That hit the spot and was complimentary which was a pleasant surprise. We ate outside because the weather was nice, but know the resident squirrel likes pumpkin bread.
Outstanding location on the intercoastal waterway with both indoor and outdoor seating. If the temp is above 95 degrees, sit inside. Food was so good. They bring a small basket of cornbread and pumkin bread and honey butter to start the meal. She Crab soup was so creamy and full of crab meat. I ordered the Sampler Platter Grilled. The whole plate was cooked perfectly. With the largest crab cake I've ever seen. My wife ordered the Cajun Pasta, and the meal had enough food for 3 meals. Their sweet tea is great, and water doesn't taste like Sulphur. Menu is pricey, but we would eat here again for sure.
Never had Crockerdile meat before... The Family said it taste like chicken... Lots of empty tables but a long wait to be seated it was obvious they were short-staffed. They all worked hard!Food: 3/5
The bread basket was simply, a sweet treat that we didn't expect, super delicious!!! In no time at all, we received our food, we ordered a fried catfish meal with coleslaw, and fried shrimp with French fries. And, if you LOVE Key lime pie, their's is too die for!!! Delicious meal, from start to finish!! I could drink their Sweet Tea, all day long.... Aunt Kate's location is St. Augustine, FL / Volano Beach area.
