Nice campground, half of the sites are electric only, others have electric and water. There's a few basic sites as well. A lot of the sites seem turned the wrong way away from the lake. Some of the sites are very narrow. We stayed in site 39 and it's good sized, but it's right above a large boat ramp so it's not quiet during boating season. It's clean throughout the campground. There's a small playground and a swim area. There are two large boat ramps and two courtesy docks. Keep in mind, those docks are for the loading and unloading of passengers. They are not for tying your boat up for extended periods of time. The road, OO, down to the campground is curvy with a slow descent down to the lake area.
Good place to spend time with church and family. Even in season time it is not big amount of people. Great place for swim. It is lifeguard jackets here. Quite nature and no shop and cafe to have some food. I think it will be good to have some service and drinks at this nice place.
Stayed over Labor Day weekend. The place was filled up, but it didn't feel like it. Nice clean campground. Friendly people. Two boat ramps and courtesy docks, lots of trailer parking, swim area. Campsites were nice - set up well, but just big enough for 2 tents. We had to leave our boat and vehicle in the trailer parking lot. I'm very picky about campground bathrooms and these were clean and in great condition. Also nice playground that the kids enjoyed. I definitely recommend this campground.
If all the campsites had water at the site, I would have given 5 stars. The Campground was well maintained, bathrooms were clean, and sites were spaced out well. The public swim area was plenty big and included picnic tables, grills, and firepits. Some were shaded, and some were not. Next to the swim area is a playground that's shaded in the evenings. Camp hosts and park rangers came through frequently. There are 2 boat launch sites from the campground with a good amount of trailer parking available.
We were in a camp spot with a hybrid camper and that part of the camping was good. However when they say there is a dump station they mean only dumping! No water hydrant for cleaning the camper tanks out! How are you supposed to go home without being able to have clean black and gray tanks ? That part of the experience is zero stars for sure! Have camped for 35 + years and have never seen this terrible set up!
Place is NICE! to sleep, no mess, and spaces but owner no, my friend go bathroom for just wash a spoon. owner is cleaning there and being rude speak to him even we are deaf and he try tell to owner for slow or else to understand but owner keep speak fast and little aggressive told my friend to go other side as unclear speak. he walk and see water faucet on outside and using it for clean spoon, owner angry at us for simple reason. after we leave slow but owner death stare at us even we go other side of build. they walk and keep stare at us. such. b***h owner. i’m sure this place is NOT friendly deaf! place to camp is 5 star for sure you can sleep there!
No one in entrance shed when we pulled in and when we went back after setting up. Spaces are close together. Showers were clean but the spray nozzles are not adjustable so they get things wet ouside the shower.
Great time but the ranger could use some communication classes. Not very nice. Not my first time camping. I grew up from little and he addressed me like I knew nothing and wouldn't even let me explain I'm disabled. Even though I have the camping pass that I am.
Great place to camp. Easy access to Table Rock Lake if you have a boat. Nice clean level pads with electric and water. Dump your tanks on the way out.
Nice campsites with shade , electric, water, and view. Two boat launches with lots of parking. A nice swim area. Great place!
