We moved to the area about 6 months ago and we all know how stressful looking for a new Dr can be. I found Dr Janelle Schaal and couldn’t be more pleased. She’s welcoming, down to earth takes the time to listen to your concerns and puts you at ease. Nurse Jessie is always friendly and amazing as well. The front receptionists are always friendly and kind.
Wonderful! Finally doctors who take the time to listen to you and get to know you. Plus unlike other clinics in town they actually have openings!! I felt very welcome here. I scheduled yearly physical appointments for my daughter and myself and they were able to get us in within the week. We were treated like people and not just a 10 minute time slot. They even sent us handwritten thank you cards after our visit. This will be my go-to clinic from now on. Excellent Nurses and Doctors and when referred to a specialist at the Aurora Hospital in Green Bay I was even more impressed with their facilities, promptness, knowledge and kindness.
Dr Sarnwick did not treat my Mother at the end of her life with very good! I'm a RN so I requested copies of the doctor note in her visit that day. I was floored!!! Dr Sarnwick logged with time stamp, my Mothers assessment while she was in the waiting room! He put her lung sounds heart rate and diagnosis and everything in there before he even seen her!!!!! So a heads up! Make sure and get ur visit notes with dr assessment after ur visit! Every patient has that right!!! So if they give u a hard time document that and the time from your phone and tell them ur contacting someone higher up and make sure and get them! If theres enough evidence he will lose his license for malpractice. That's what that is!!! Malpractice!
I have been a long time client. I inadvertently ran low on one of my prescriptions. I did not expect it would be one that we would require preauthorization, because I was just in there recently about the particular issue. I called in to give them a heads up about my request for refill that the pharmacy notified them of, because I was extremely low - and hoped to rush the request. I asked if they would relay my rush request the staff that checks on those messages. Their response was very clear, that this was too much to ask. Their policy is that they have 24 hours to respond for these requests. I received a call today from the nurse reiterating the fact that they have a policy. I was told that they have sometimes 30 to 40 requests each day for prescription refills, so that is why they need a policy. I understand the need for policies, but there are always exceptions to every rule. My reply was basically of that 30 to 40 requests, how many people call each day to ask for one of the requests to be flagged as urgent. Is it too much to ask the receptionist to let the nursing staff know that one of the requests should be checked promptly because of the need? All that kept coming back to me is that they have a policy. I apsolutly love my NP, but service is a really big deal to me. I am seriously considering making a change. I noticed other providers have 4+ star ratings, and Aurora in Shawano has 2. They really need to evaluate why this is, and what they can do to improve.
I've been going to Aurora in Shawano for a few years now and I've had nothing but great doctors. Doctor Jill is my favorite! She answers all of my questions thoroughly and is very informative on any issues I may be having. I love how quiet the Aurora clinic is, it doesn't make me feel panicky and the staff is very friendly! Best place to go for care in Shawano hands down!
Doctor Jill is so nice! I went in with my partner and Dr Jill was super helpful and friendly. The environment is non-threatening and very friendly helpful staff helps us not feel as nervous. Very nice, comfortable and clean facilities!
I have been doctoring with Janel Schaal at the Shawano location and am very pleased with my ability to get an appointment as well as the staffs ability to answer questions promptly. Keep up the good work!
Called to get a apt because I have a lot of Flem coughing up.told me that I should see my doctor.note my doctor is two hours away witch I told them??I see why parking lot is empty all the time.went to the thedacare saw me right away. Would not even go to aurora shawano if you paid me now.
Dr.Sarnwick has lost his better judgement!I have severe life threatening allergies.Had then for 20 plus years! He was always supplying me with an Epi pin.So i go to get a refill and he says,I dont feel comfortable with refilling this!!Im like okay......Do you want to be responsible if i eat the wrong thing or come in contact with a cat for my death!!Like really! He gave me a real hard time about other refills too.We had to go to his boss to get that refilled.I am leaving Aurora completely now.Happy retirement dr.sarnwick.You sure need it!Bye!
Horrible in every way. Waited almost an hour in room while listening to everyone laughing and just plain to busy to even say they were running behind. Decided to leave and not one apology or even a goodbye.
