Dr Bermudez in urgent care was the rudest doctor I’ve ever met. My son had a fever and I brought him in and he said “well this is what happens to kids that don’t get the flu shot” my son asked him a question and he completely ignored him. Talked about how rvs isn’t a problem and the only reason it’s a problem is because nurses would follow the rules and left. Not friendly at all. However Shelly our medical assistant was amazing. She is very sweet and friendly and kept a smile on her face. She looks like she genuinely enjoys her job.
I was so disappointed the first time I went to the facility and vowed I'd never go back. The physician was rude and dismissive. I had an issue this past week and decided to give it another go. I was so impressed with Dr. Varghese. She took her time, went through each lab test with me and actually sat next to me to explain a plan for treatment. Kudos to her for practicing medicine as it should be! Thank you
Went to urgent care, waited 10 minutes tops to get in. Nurse was nice, doctor was knowledgeable and helpful. Was concerned to go because of COVID but there were very few other patients there and I saw them wiping everything down in the entryway and lobby maybe every 15 minutes. They did a really good job to keep things safe and clean. I saw some bad reviews, so thought I should say my side because everything was good for me.
They were fast and nice. But actual knowledge and ability to help with my problem they were useless. Gave me an anti histamine for the insanely itchy rash I had and spent the whole time trying to talk to me about depression and how to get over that instead of actually helping me to treat the rash which is why I came there. Full body head to toe itching. Cant sleep, can't work, can't do anything. I've read other people's experience with this rash and they were given many different things to help. They basically gave me benadryl and told me to wait it our even after calling back the next day with worse symptoms. I can't wait to see the price for this visit.
I went to the ER here, I checked in at 945 and it was supposedly an “20-45” minute wait. I waited until 1115 before I got annoyed and left. Apperently there were “other emergencies” as 15 other people got treated before me. Went to a different one and come to find out I tore my MCL. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.
Overall the urgent care was run well, and the administrative staff was professional and helpful. The dissatisfaction was with Dr. Varghese. I came in with a sinus infection I was battling for 6 days with progressive symptoms. she proceeded to tell me I had allergies no infection. When I questioned how I could have allergies this bad when I told her I was taking Allegra, Flonase, mucinex and Afrin to be as functional as I was , which was still horribly Ill for over 6 days, she then retracted allergies and said it was an infection - insisting it was viral not bacterial. She did give me an antibiotics under my insistence as well as directing me to stop all decongestants except Allegra. I asked why stop decongestants when I’m so congested and she said, “clearly it isn’t working.” I said, “it is working, without the decongestants, I’m 10x worse and cannot talk.” Needless to say, it is a bacterial infection despite Dr. Varghese insisting it was allergies or virus. Within 18 hours Of being on an antibiotic I feel exponentially better. Dr. Varghese has a horrible bedside manner, poor listening skills and an ego of superiority instead of listening to a patient who knows her body.
I’m not sure what the poor ratings are about, perhaps the individuals going here are used to special treatment. My mom was seen by Dr Daley and he provided exceptional care. He was empathetic with her situation and had actual information regarding what could be going on. He worked with his peers to come up with a viable plan to eliminate one of the possible diagnosis. She was listened to, treated with respect, and most importantly she left there knowing she would feel better.
Well I was just getting a COVID test done today. 01/07/2022. But the receptionist that I talked to was friendly and so was the provider who did my nose swab. I liked that the health care provider actually did the swabbing and didn’t instruct me how to do it. Also I got confused about which way to exit to the parking lot and an employee helped me with that as well!
The wait is a rough one but I had 4 people in front of me and being in the pain I was in, it felt like forever. However every single nurse Nurse practitioner, doctor, and even the receptionists are angels. I've had a rough year and all of these people care for me with compassion and patience everytime I've been in. Like 9 times by the way and if I ever bring my son in, they work so well with even though hes 3 and scared. They are gentle and kind hearted and I know whenever i go in they'll take care of me properly, not just send me through in 2 minutes and go on with their day.
I was referred here for x-rays a few months ago. Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and helpful. I did not wait too long and I was there pretty early in the morning around 7:30. The facilities were nice, clean and well put together. My x-rays took about 30 minutes to complete as they were taking shots from various angles.
