Austin Pharmacy And Medical Supplies

Had a great experience at Austin Pharmacy a few weeks ago. The employees went out of their way to help me find a specific item my grandmother needed. They were very patient with me and I could tell they genuinely wanted to help.

Great set up and pick up crew. 5 stars to them. 0 to the admin in the office. Terrible customer service. Felt like you should be thanking them. Called for a repair and was told 2-3 weeks. Would not use again.

Needed a certain medical patch and they were the only place that had a comparable solution in stock every other place had to order and take a week to get.

Fantastic place if you need any medical supplies.

I've been using this pharmacy for years but today's visit was unbelievable. Around 125, after driving twenty minutes on my lunch break, I walked in the establishment and everyone was busy with customers. So I waited, in one place, until someone was free. There were two women Associates helping customers with medical supplies and the pharmacists, John, talking with a customer who had her prescription in her hand tells me she was already helped and the conversation was perhaps casual. While still standing in the SAME spot, I continued to wait. After John finishes his conversation, he walked away from the register and proceeded to do something else. I walked up the pharmacy counter, which was my reason for going there, and waited a few more minutes. Meanwhile, the associates were still helping other clients. Finally, while STILL standing at the counter, I said excuse me can I get some assistance? He says walks to the counter and says oh you help, I thought you were wandering meaning traveling aimlessly from place to place looking for something? I thought, how can you wander standing in one place. However, I responded- I didn't drive from my home to come here and wander. I'm here to pick-up my prescription. Usually, he's quiet and the associates assists me. The one and only time I hear him speak, he says the wrong thing. There was no "Oh I apologize or How can I help." This experience is very disappointing and definitely could've been avoided. It doesn't matter who enters the place of business, how they look, smell or even what they're wearing. Obviously, there' a reason for the visit and it's definitely not to WANDER. *Note: My hair is pinned and I was wearing a hair wrap and maybe there was a stereotype going on in his mind. It's really none of my business how he felt at that moment. The lack of professionalism and acknowledgment of a customer being present and needed assistance was disgusting.

Staff is the BEST!!! Greatest customer service.

Absolutely love Austin! They went above and beyond for us today. The remote control on our lift chair broke on a Saturday afternoon. The manufacturer of the chair was not open on the weekend. Austin was about to close. The owner of Austin personally assisted me when I called. She kept the store open late; they enabled us to take the remote from a new chair on their store’s floor we paid for it; and they will navigate the replacement with the manufacturer at a future date. Being without a functioning lift chair would have been challenging over the weekend. We are very grateful to Austin Pharmacy. Thank you!!!

The best place ever and nice workers, I was visiting and I am a cancer patient with no bladder and sprung a leak with my night bag, unfortunately Medicare was no help at all and I ran across this Pharmacy and was so relieved and happy!!!! Thank you again from the bottom of my heart I did not bring a back up night bag.

we've been customers for 32 years. The service is just fine; the people get to know customers' names and there is always friendly greeting and chatting. The pharmacist - John is the expert you'd want to be the guy who fills your drug prescription. I have seen the manager, Lind and her colleague Michelle handle uncomfortable situations and problem customers with skill and aplomb. Hard to find an modern place with old time courtesy and expertise.

Theresa at Hunt Valley was SO kind to my mother. She came out to the car and took measurements so mom didn't have to struggle walking. Everything about Austin says "family" and sure enough...they are a family run business. Thank you, Theresa and Austin Pharmacy!
