Started in 1995, Austin’s Shoes has grown to 3 locations and features one of the South’s best selection of quality footwear. The original location was a 350 sq foot store featuring discount shoes. Today the stores offer 7,000 to 8,000 sq feet modern stores in Corinth, MS, Florence, AL and Muscle Shoals, AL.

Owners Steve and Allana McElwain, began with a vision to offer a wide selection that would please the entire family. As the business has grown, so has their vision.

Definitely wouldn’t recommend people of color to shop here. They will follow you around the entire time you shop and don’t even try not to make it noticeable. Not everyone of color steals and my money spends the same as the 15 other white customers that were also there shopping. I will literally keep making a 45 min drive to Tupelo before your business gets my money.
Great selection of shoes and great brand names. The only thing I found that may need to be improved on is the clothing in a little bit larger size. I found many items but none in my size. I know it's a shoe store but the clothes were really nice and fashionable. I would like to have been able to buy some.
Horrible customer service, it's fair to mention I only interacted with one individual but I was looking to purchase a gift for my wife, this lady was helping me and another lady, both of us were looking at the same brand shoe, one of the other workers looked at her and said "should I get me a pair of those?" She replied, "ugh, no they are so ugly". With both of us standing right there. I continued to look but heaven forbid i interupt here telling about her family drama. I eventually got fed up and left. I work hard for my money and was willing to drop Good money on a pair of shoes, But I will not be buying them from there. I dont think this represents austins as a whole it was just one employee at the corinth location. Most sales people Usually stay away from talking bad about their product in front of customers

Very helpful staff and wide selections available.
Very upset with Austin's Shoes. I was at the store for over a hour and no one offered to help me find the shoes I was looking for. When I found , what I was looking for and went to pay, I was told they would not take a check and I don't use credit cards or bank cards. This is no way to run a business. If you go there ,I hope you have better luck than I did.
Nice store, average selection, rude employee. I thought I was going to buy some Merrill's, but was very annoyed with the lady standing behind me. I wasn't sure if she was trying to be helpful or if she thought I was going to steal something. Perhaps I should of told her that I would come find her when I was finished deciding.
Great selection of shoes for the whole family!
Staff is wonderful and of course we have our favorite who always goes out of her way to help us and catch up on things thats been going on in our lives since a previous visit. She has been working at Austins for as long as I can remember.Customer service like that is awesome. On a 2nd note do y'all give military discounts? If not I hope this is something that u may consider doing in the future. If not daily maybe certain days of the week. Its a great opportunity for local businesses to give back to our military and family that is in our community.
Drove an hour and a half to visit with my daughters based on recommendations from a friend. There was a good, high quality amount of shoes to select from if you wanted average width. I didn't really see any in the wide widths that I was looking for. Also there was one floor attendant that went around straightening up shoes as we went along. That was a little unnerving as we sometimes went back a few times to the shoes we were looking at. I felt like we were creating more work for her if we tried shoes on again. But overall it was an OK shoe store.
