Vision
The AustinTexans SC strives to develop the skills, knowledge, character, and love of the game for all players to their utmost potential. Our vision centers on the basic premise that the club EXISTS FOR THE PLAYERS - not the coaches, not the parents, not the Board members. All decisions and programming elements must serve the best interest of the players.
The ATSC training program will focus on the individual technical, tactical, physical, and psychological development of every player. It is the only way to allow players the opportunity to fully enjoy the sport, and therefore develop to their full potential.
At the Austin Texans SC, our overriding philosophy is based on the belief that team sports help develop the talents and skills that children will use throughout their lives. Although winning is a component of any sport-related activity, ATSC seeks to develop the virtues of sportsmanship, physical fitness, and a positive self image.
Mission
The Austin Texans Soccer Club provides a comprehensive select soccer program for players aged Under 11 to Under 19 and an advanced recreational soccer program for players aged Under 9 to Under 10. ATSC serves Austin and surrounding communities and provides an atmosphere based upon Family, Fun, Sportsmanship, Commitment, and Respect. The ATSC also provides quality support and training for our affiliated recreational clubs.
