My go to salon, I almost want to keep it a secret all to myself! If my stylist hair artist! Allison wasn't enough to keep me coming back, Susie and Kayleys always sweet and caring customer service would be. Luckily I get the best of both. Altogether there is no doubt why I won't go anywhere else. I always leave looking & feeling better than when I walked in.

I went here on edge and nervous and left with an awesome end result. I gave my stylist an extremely difficult request and was not the most fun customer to work with and she still nailed what I wanted. My stylist's name was Emily, and she was amazing. The entire experience was great and was timely through and through. Emily if you see this, I appreciate you greatly. Below attached is the bogus reference image I used a drawing and the final result. I am not sure how this salon has achieved the best salon recognition for so many years. I have used Aveda salons in the past and was always pleased. I had scheduled an appointment for hair color a month and a half in advance so that I could get a Saturday appointment. I planned for this appointment for weeks. My hair typically takes about 3 hours, so I cannot go during the week since I work full-time. On the website, if you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, you are charged 50%. But what happens if they cancel your appointment with 45 minutes notice? Not much! I was informed that my appointment was cancelled on Saturday 45 minutes before I was to arrive, and there were no accommodations for this. "We can get you in on Tuesday", well that won't work!!!! I have a full-time job and a busy schedule. This is why I booked a Saturday appointment and waited 1.5 months for it. My hair really needed to be done. I called six other area salons and was able to get into a salon on the sixth call. This is EXTREMELY frustrating!!!!! Obviously, Aveda has plenty of clientele, so they can cancel on you at the last minute, and it is no big deal to them.

Allison is the most talented colorist I’ve ever met. She gives you exactly what you ask for and can help complete whatever vision you have.

Be warned: Inconsistent results, painful experience, unfriendly atmosphere & disrespectful‼ I just spoke with the most rude front desk manager “Ryan” I’ve ever experienced at an Aveda at this particular salon. He raised his voice and hung up on me after I said thank you for your time. I am a professional who does not appreciate being spoken to the way this man spoke to me! He is the front desk manager to boot. I have been using Aveda products/services and going to both salons and Aveda schools since I was 21, over 30 years. This place has been notoriously troubled. I’ve had my hair colored there multiple times and they can’t seem to get it right. I do NOT recommend this location to any seasoned person who understands Aveda products and services! Enter at your own risk.

I did my hair there and it looks horrible!!! They are charging such high fees and don’t know what they are doing. I had a consultation with Patti and she assured me that what I showed her on the picture she will be able to do, so I went to see Patti and she did a horrible job with the color and she cut my hair uneven. Every time I look at my hair I hate it. Now I have to redo it somewhere else and damage my hair. Aveda please send your stylists to study and learn the techniques of coloring!!!! Never go again there. Just see it for yourself! All those good reviews are probably their own.

I am so so thrilled with my hair cut and highlights. Allie was patient and made sure we both understood what I needed and wanted. Never have I gotten exactly what I wanted in a salon before. Allie is truly gifted in her craft.

Loooove this salon! So professional and fast working

Lovely, clean salon and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It was my first haircut in 3 years and Rose transformed my out of control frizz into beautiful curls. Now, thanks to her and the Aveda curl products, I am doing it myself at home and maintaining the look even in our humid climate. I have already booked my next appointment and am going to book another for my son too! Thank you for working your magic, Rose and Avantgarde!
