Nice local park. It's usually clean and plenty of options for kids and families. The parking lot lights could be a little brighter when it's darker. The walking paths are nice and the inclusive swings are great! Good meeting spot for scouts too.
Stopped in for a quick minute to jot down some notes and really liked my first impression of the park! Nice big shade trees and freshly black topped parking lot and trails. I will definitely head there soon to take a nice walk and check out the rest of the park!
It's nice clean small park with a walking trail that has small inclines. Near the back there's 1 offshoot uphill and downhill area a bit steeper. You can avoid if you want. A small picnic area and playground for kids.
This is a very nice park. The place is beautiful, and well kept. There are many different kinds of equipment for the kids. Multiple swings, slides, jungle gyms. Also some swings for babies. The park is pretty large with a huge connecting walking trail with lots of hills. Would be a great place for exercise. The trash cans are never super full and the pavilion has been the place that our family has had birthday parties for years. Very nostalgic, but it hasn't changed a bit, in the best way. Grass is always cut. Lots of shade, places to sit, picnic tables, squirrels. Just a lovely place all around.
The rain has made this park really green.
BBQ pots ate dangerous as they have fallen apart and are an accident waiting to happen. The bathrooms were very nasty. Was a nice Birthday party though.
Aka, shade park. My wife and I, along with our two crazy boys frequent this park. There is a nice, paved walking trail, along with pavilions and grills for easy-to-host BBQ parties. The playground is kid friendly, too. Very pretty location, as it hosts countless mature trees to admire on your stroll. Definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area.
Nice clean park. Lots of shade tree's. Paved walking trail. Large playground. Pavilion with picnic tables. Decent parking space. It runs along Lincoln Dr which is busy, but the biggest part of the playground is away from Lincoln. Just don't let the little one's out of sight. Peaceful place.
A nice shady park to take the kids during these very hot dog days of summer. I only gave 4 stars as the equipment is on the old side. When possible, the playground equipment needs to be updated.
We only came here to eat our drive thru lunch and we were pleasantly surprised at how much larger the park was once we pulled into the parking lot. Lots of picnic tables and walking paths. Nice, little park. :
