Avis Car Rental

I saved a bunch of money for a nicer car than a local competitor. The employees are professional and friendly. Will 10/10 recommend them and continue to rent cars from this Avis location from now on.

Absolutely deplorable customer service. Nicole in Hanover quoted my BF $420 for a truck reservation on Friday, was conveniently not there Sat when he went to pick up the truck so he was then charged $600 and was told that Nicole would honor the original price when she returned to the store. She told my bf on the phone that she would fix it before the truck was dropped off again the following Saturday. My BF was then with no phone call charged $1,300!! They gave him the run around on the phone, didn't fix it and proceeded to lie about what she said. I went in to the store to discuss the charges, where nicole during a pandemic was not wearing her mask while on the phone and talking to me! She was rude and it was clear that she did not get the job for her excellent client service and it was because she is related to the boss...

Joe was great. He had to help me at close to my worst... I was stressed, my car was out of commission, and I had spent at least 4 hours on hold with customer service GEICO, AAA, and Avis since the night before. He turned an otherwise stressful situation into a pleasant experience. The car is clean, he cleaned it in the bay, and there were several scrapers for the impending storm already in the back seat.

Very friendly staffs and good customer care. They always provide best cars for rent. Recently I booked a full size car and request for larger trunk one on pick, for suprise they gave me a premium suburban as free upgrade. WoW I had a wonderful trip.

Continuance of a review for the saugus location...I had scheduled a van rental in Saugus 2 weeks ahead of time and when i arrived to pick it up was told they didnt have the van and it was at the Hanover location 40 minutes away and i would have to go pick it up, making for at least an hour and a half round trip with 11 people waiting. Despite calls to the location and customer service the location refused to help remedy the situation by delivering the vehicle to Saugus. Not that they couldnt i was told they had just that they didnt want to. Terrible customer service. I, along with the 11 others in my group will NEVER rent from Avis again.

salesperson is one of the rudest people ive ever delt with...they rented me a vehicle that stunk so bad like smoke i could have thrown up ...go elsewhere

I left my $350 gopro in the rental and they pocketed it. Not cool

Absolutely the best car rental agency I have used and I travel very frequently.

Never get size car I paid extra for. Always pay more than reserved price. have to argue evertime.
