The most pleasant and amazing experience I've had renting a car! Chris went above and beyond to help me meet my needs. This is definitely my go-to friendly neighborhood car rental vendor in Buffalo! Can't wait to see you all soon again!

Horrible experience, after reading the terms of service outlining explicitly how credit OR debit cards are accepted I was met with an incredibly rude service person 100% unwilling to be of any help. No explanation needed just “you need a credit card . Next person in line” The need for a credit card is so discriminatory and makes no sense. Unless they are running up unauthorized charges which from these other reviews seems like they do a lot. But still. If I had the money for the rental and deposit In my account why couldn’t I rent the car…. Absolutely no help from corporate either because you can’t get them on the phone!!! Absolutely awful. If I could give negative stars I would. Never using Avis or this location again. And encouraging everyone I know to do the same.

Weirdly they added like a 525 dollar charge to the credit bill and we called to ask about it and it was removed by the next day. Definitely shady, not in line with a deposit or any fee on a 350$ rental. Probably wont be back dont want the charge to stick next time.

Pick up from another location was fast and efficient, however, I wasn't reminded to check for damage nor given a known damage form. This caused issues with drop off at another location because they assumed that I was in an unreported accident I was not and the damage had clearly been taped for longer than the 1 day I rented. Then the attendant at the return location was upset and not helpful with guiding me on how to prove damage was done previously or what I could do to resolve the situation.

They were professional help me out and even though the vehicle had a couple of dents in it it was clean and definitely did its job wish I could have got some money off the rental because of the dense outside the vehicle but I was in so much of a rush I forgot to even ask

Employees are very friendly and cooperative. I suggest you to check the vehicle entirely for any warnings in the dashboard and gas level. Some times gas level may not be the same as mentioned at the time of pickup. It happend to me once and I noticed that after I left the pickup location and came back to the avis after some time and shown them. They were very nice and updated the gas level.

Customer service was excellent and the availability of vehicles was as well. Avis was able to get us into a vehicle that fit our needs after our insurance company arranged a rental through a different company and that company told us when we went to pick up that they didn't have any vehicles. Went online at avis and was able to get a vehicle for pickup the same day. The person at the counter was nice and professional and had us in and out quickly even though she was quite busy! Would definitely recommend!

It was dream come true at first. Really simple and straightforward. But as of recent this location has some serious issues with customer service. Either the times we live in is getting to the employees or something. They don’t have after hours check in. But still allowed me to book it. Then when I go to return it, it won’t let me. So I called and they said take it to the airport. So with no problem I did. It’s been about a week and a half and they were trying to charge my account $600 and I haven’t had the car for over a week. Then I called and asked what’s going on. They said for the location change it’ll cost me $300. So where did the $600 come from??? I told them that it’s nothing I did that cost me to have to return it to the airport so why am I being charged $300?? He couldn’t give a reason so I will no longer be renting here. They are cheaper, but not to be trusted.

I had an ok experience. The lady who basically runs the place is really good.

Twice I was charged a lot more than what I was quoted.. by well over $100 Budget Rental same location, which was because she charged me daily rate instead of the weekly rate I was quoted..and $46 today, for not topping the gas, which was topped of at the nearest gas station to the drop off, right down the street.. she closed my account without even saying a word to me, both times! so I didn't know until afterwards.. the car was turned in a day early; I could have gone back to the gas station a few blocks away.. too late.. they refused to help. She told me to call the corporate offices but no one who speaks English EVER answers.
