Just don't book with Avis. Lovely people at this centre but having a hard time dealing with the company itself and head office. Booked a hire car online, was asked to come get it one day earlier due to staff being away or sick. When I got home I was debited an extra charge over $100 for one way fee, protection etc etc and a late fee although I already paid this on my original booking and I wasn't even late! And no email or receipt to say why they were taking this charge from me. I've been trying to deal with this for almost 2 weeks now just to get a refund and whilst it's apparently being processed and has been recognised by multiple people it was incorrect, nothing has happened and I have to constantly chase up as the customer service team at head office are all giving different answers. As I said, lovely people at the centre but they seem as frustrated with head office as I am. Not booking with these guys again. As a uni student living in a time with high inflation and trying to budget, plus as someone that tries to be kind and courteous wherever I can, it's really starting to become a pain now and it's super frustrating having an extra amount that shouldn't even have been charged whipped out of your account. Hopefully not much longer to receive this refund or it's consumer affairs next.

These guy like to play games and bounce responsibility around between themself. My father recently leased a car from them which costed $1500 a month which was not the issue. The issue was within the same month wacked with a extra $500 -$900 on top of payments every month. Now this went on for 3 - 4months. My father is old and he's not so tech savy but I told him he must ask for a copy of the contract that he signed and they denied him that too. Bathurst office is sloppy. Customer service is appalling. I wouldn't do buisness with them what so ever. They will scam you.

Terrible. Service was terrible!  Called budget and booked a truck yet turned into avis? Was made to change dates of my move to suit their timetable. Truck was the worst.  Still dirty when recieved,  lifter didn't work mid 1st load. Not weather proof some items got water damaged where water leaked into truck. Wouldn't recommend.

Very good prices, thus they had nothing available to hire for 2 weeks.

Great service and choice staff friendly and helpful

They move their location quit often. But the service remain solid and friendly. I always drive their cars to Sydney Airport when traveling.
