I want to express my sincere gratitude to Sergio and his amazing crew at the 19092Beach Blvd HB location for the outstanding service they provided. Sergio went above and beyond when he noticed that I accidentally made a double reservation for the same car. He promptly resolved the issue without imposing any cancellation charges.  I must also commend the exceptional quality of the cars available at this location. They were in excellent condition and met all my expectations.  Their attention to detail, willingness to assist, and commitment to customer satisfaction truly set them apart from other local rental car companies. I highly recommend the 19092Beach Blvd location for anyone in need of reliable and top-notch car rental service. Thank you once again, Sergio, for going the extra mile!

Would give this location negative stars if I could.  When I showed up to pick up my rental car today, they had exactly 2 automobiles available. Neither was in the category I asked for. I did not want an “upgrade” to a giant, gas,-guzzling SUV, nor did I want a giant pick-up truck. I ended up with the SUV, which had a faulty ignition. The guy said there was nothing he could do about it, and that if I wanted to, I could exchange it at the airport Avis. Great idea! I would love to waste another hour and a half of my time because this business couldn’t be bothered to honor the reservation for vehicle I chose. Look, if you don’t have the inventory, don’t accept the reservation. Also, it would be a great idea to maintain the few vehicles that you do have in working condition. And one more thing: maybe next time you could clean the snot off the dashboard? I ended up with a disgusting, malfunctioning car that I’m going to have to spend time I don’t have exchanging in another Avis location. I rent from Avis a LOT and this is the first negative experience I’ve had in years. Next time I will definitely pay the extra money and rent at the airport. Anything is better than this nasty little neighborhood dive with the worst customer service ever.

I rented a car from this store we paid for a week in full but Unfortunately I was treated in the worst manner ever with no help or customer service. We had arrived late to pick our car as it was a Sunday and no call or text was sent to us to explain the store will close at 2 or why we didn’t pick the car. We had arrived late due to our late flight. We therefore called the company and left a note that we will pick the car the next day. When we arrived the next day we were told the car we booked was rented to someone else, no note was left on the system and when we asked what can be done, I have three kids and baby we were told to leave the store in the heat. When we asked to speak to manager we were told he is on his day off and not to be disturbed. We were shouted at not even offered any solutions and told to go to los Angelous airport and hour away to pick a car. It was sick! We had to ring our self to check another branch close by which was only 4.7 miles away and they had a car for us which we went to same day and picked up a car. The service was amazing and were even given a brand new car. This branch is very impolite and we are sure our car was not given to us so it can be rented at a higher price since we booked much earlier in the year. My baby was crying and not one time we were given any comfort. I don’t recommending using this store . Any other store would provide a much better and professional service but not this store . Please be very careful dealing with this store if you have too.

Sergio is amazing made the rental experience a good one.

Received a car that had been smoked in an excessive amount. It also was not clean, even though they had someone clean it before I picked it up. The tank was only half full, which resulted in me having to pay for more expensive gas in California rather than at my destination. I'm pretty disappointed by the quality of the car at a standard rate of $167/day. For that amount, I expect things to be near perfect.

Best rental car experience in a long time.  They actually really clean their vehicles.  Small office but big hearts and great customer service.  Sergio is incredible on customer service.  Thanks for restoring my faith that you can still have people who care about their service to customers!!!

I've rented cars numerous of times for personal and business trips. Never once I had to wash and clean the rental car upon returning. The purpose of car rental is for the convenience of the customers.  My first time renting Avis at this location. I understand each Avis location is privately owned. Sergio, the guy who handled the car return this morning,  stated that because the rental car was return out of the "norm", I either get charged for him to clean the car or I need to wash and clean the car before returning.  I've never heard such condition ever from all my experiences with car rental services, except for Turo. Now, Turo is privately own by an individual but not franchised like Avis.  I asked Sergio to define "the norm" because I read on Avis' policy, there was no where on the policy that stated the customer had to clean the car before returning. He defined the condition included gravel, grass, dirt.  When picking up this car, I  saw dog fur everywhere in the back seat with popcorn in a cup holder. It became very clear to me that Sergio forces this condition on the customers to save him time and money before exchanging cars.  The whole point of renting cars from Avis is for the convenience. Avis is not Turo. I'm writing this reviews for you to be aware of the situation regarding to the additional charges or clean it yourself before returng the car.

There's an Enterprise down the street from this branch that won't over charge you if you LGBTQ. Employee made us purchase coverage for my spouse because he did not believe that we were married.  When confronted if he would treat a straight couple this way he was tongue tied and twisted, and could not give a straight answer.  I have been renting from this branch for the past 4 years.  Won't be going back.

Very nice family run business, always great service, especially Sergio whom I dealt with many times. Friendly staff and our rentals have always been very clean. We use them through the Costco Travel site, under car rentals and get a better deal, plus no charge for the second driver.

I called first, he told me what was available at that location and it was quick and easy and the rental was a nice, clean vehicle. I even had to rerent the same vehicle shortly after returning it. That process was even easier and he made sure I went through USAA to get my military discount. Great overall experience.
