Avis Car Rental

When I picked up the rental car the TPS light was illuminated on the dash. As soon as I started driving I could feel the car not handling well. The pressure on the front passenger tire was below 30 psi while the rest of the tires were at 49-50 psi. I was on a tight schedule and had to make an extra stop to fill up the tire so that I could make the trip safely. I also didn't like that the car didn't come with a key fob. I've never rented a car that didn't include such a basic item as that.

I was flying into Redmond past midnight and I had a delay which passed the closing time. Luckily when I called the lady working that counter was super nice and waited until that last flight arrived. Was able to pick up my car even after 30 mins delay. Checking out was first confusing as I'm not used to dropping the keys off inside after parking it back in the lot.

Ethan was incredible. Car rentals have always been stressful and carried all sorts of hidden fees. This was NOT my experience with Budget/Avis of Redmond! He was patient and explained every dollar charged-and why! I would absolutely recommend them and will be renting from them again in the near future!

Good vehicle with nice features and reasonable price.. Unfortunately, late to provide reserved rental vehicle. Told was due to cleaning need at location 3 miles away. Received vehicle 1.5 hours later than reserved time and it was covered in dirt and dust all over outside and had rocks and hair inside. Dishonest staff as it was clearly not washed or prepared. I'd called ahead 2 times prior to arrival to confirm vehicle would be available and for other misc rental info i.e. changing primary driver. Assured all is good. Was also charged an extra fee of $65 for second driver. Disappointed in this "extra charge" as a way to get more $ from customers. Has nothing to do with insurances or other, just profit as I covered all of the insurances.

Recently I visited Central Oregon and Avis made my vacation super easy to get around by their vehicle. I had a great experience and recommend them to any and all whom need a vehicle on vacation. I will definitely use them again. They are very professional and make the entire experience go smoothly!!

Overdue review but could not miss the opportunity to leave a HUGE THANKS to Ethan from Avis. My flight from Denver was delayed due to thunderstorms I arrived at Redmond at 2.30am with little hope of getting a taxi or uber, I was about to cry when I came out of the plane. To my surprise, Ethan was waiting in the counter as he knew there would be customers affected that would not be able to go home or to their hotels without his help. Thank you for not only embracing but going above and beyond what customer service means.

Pick up and drop off quick, efficient and easy. Great staff. These are challenging times and it's so nice to have people who actually are courteous, friendly and nice!

Ethan at Avis was amazingly thoughtful and went out of his way to helped, after midnight arrival at the airport. My rental reservation with National was unknown after flight schedule was changed, no one was there at the National car rental office. Extremely cold night, I was about to cry since not many people were in Redmond airport, a small airport... no taxis.. absolutely nothing. And there my Hero, Ethan came and offered to help other company client. He saw that I was looking for someone at the National office before picking up my luggage. He said, I went home but I had to come back for you, I couldn't just leave you with nothing. Ethan, a manager of Avis took care of me renting National car, because there was no one to help. I am so greatful to him, I never knew where was their car lot, nor number etc.. this was 3 months ago. Now I am renting from Ethan with Avis. Ashley helped this time, she was awesome, too. I am flying into Redmond airport often, I surely will use Avis more. Nice clean car, never had problems. Love when they work with high standards customer service. I was so lost not knowing how to get home to Fossil in the freezing night, with my disabled husband. We Thank you again Ethan!!! God bless you!

Location DOES have a drop box on the counter no need to call as well if your booking to return before 9 am just put 9 am or it won’t let you book

Terrible first Avis experience. Pick-up in Seattle was fine, but return experience has been horrible and outlining my experience below: First - NO mention was made that the drop off office doesn't allow after hours returns. Second - NO mention was made that the drop off office closes at 3:00pm. Third - I returned the car within 8 hours of receiving it, same day... within minutes of the office closing. Fourth - I called Avis to inform them that the car had been returned in the secure lot and the keys had been deposited in the secure drop box. The agent I spoke to, said I needed to inform someone else... I waited on hold for over 50 minutes before Avis terminated the call. Fifth - my credit card has been charged nearly $800 for the $157 rental - no explanation or receipt. Sixth - my call to the customer service contact center revealed that much of the charge was a "miskey" but no explanation was offered as to why and no reparations offered. Seventh - I was told that even though the car was in my possession fewer than 8 hours, that there was no recourse but to charge me for a full second day. This is not the customer service reps fault - I do believe he tried to be helpful but horrendous customer experience and terrible policy. Eighth - congrats you're getting over $300 for under 8 hours of drive time but I will NEVER rent from Avis again and do my best to ensure no one I know ever does either.
