The doctor was more worried that I was discussing two things I was dealing with in my physical versus caring and discussing how to handle these two issues. He told me that I should have two other office visits to discuss those two items because of time and how to turn into the insurance companies.
Communication with office staff has been difficult. My sons original primary care doctor quit. No one called to inform me. Ended up showing up to his scheduled appointment and were only told then that his doctor quit and we would have to reschedule with a new doctor. Getting a 3 month old ready and out the door is a process, so this was frustrating. They can never seem to schedule appointments correctly. Have been given misinformation by doctors on multiple occasions. Was told wrong dose of Tylenol for my son to treat his fever. Brought my son in while he was very sick. Was told it was a generic virus, prescribed hydrocortisone for “eczema”. Turns out he had severe Hand Foot and Mouth disease. Doctor completely missed it. Not pleased.
I've been seeing Dr. Ulbrich since 2013, and she has been wonderful. Everyone from the front office staff to the Nurses, and my doctor are great. They are all kind, welcoming, and professional. Appointments are easy to make, and communication is a breeze. I love that with the MyChart app, I can directly message my doctor with any questions I have. I highly recommend this practice for anyone in need of a primary care physician.
Dr. Harding is an amazing listener, attentive to the needs of his patients.
My primary care physician PCP was out on Fall Break so I was left with Meredith Lawson MD and Christina Kelley NP to cover. To say they are incompetent is an understatement. My PCP indicated in my chart to get a procedure done when I saw her 2 complete months ago. Why on Earth would I need to schedule with Lawson or Kelley? Are they really protecting themselves from liability? If I was a close friend or family member, would they order the scan? Having managed doctor's offices for years the answer is obvious. But for Lawson and Kelley they epitomize the bloat of primary care and the subsequent erosion of public trust. The only hope is Artificial Intelligence can replace them where they are forced to rural areas. Because contrary to popular belief, we're not getting get the care in the cities either. The front end is reflection of the entire staff. I would give them 3 stars because they at least have common sense and the common desency to empathize when you call-out the profit-driving business of healthcare during a call.
Luckily, I haven't needed to be a very needy patient yet, but every communication I've had with this office has been great! I've had to call a handful of times regarding my husband's prescription or to schedule routine appointments, and they're always super friendly, prompt, and have surprisingly good availability. My husband really likes Dr. Leffler, and I felt very comfortable with Dr. Ulbrich. The staff has also been very friendly!
Had a new patient visit with Christina Kelley, NP today. She is incredibly kind, a great listener, thorough and came up with a plan to address my concerns. She had a NP student with her today, Sarah, who was equally as kind. I'm thrilled with my choice of Christina Kelley to handle my health care needs. Wonderful bedside manner!
First appointment was cancelled due to Dr not being in office, rescheduled. Second Appt 8:20am, was even called to confirm....get there and magically it scheduled for 7:20! Never go to this clinic they were rude!
Called for an appointment for a potentially serious medical issue and was told I couldnt get in until april!!
It’s impossible to get a prescription refilled.
