Awakenings has been providing sober living for women struggling with addiction for over 25 years. As a result, we understand the challenges they are facing with drugs, alcohol and peer pressure. We focus on young people ages 18-26, and work to treat the underlying conditions of the addiction. By combining our approach to drug treatment with esteem building tools, we help change our young adults outlook on their future.
We help our young adults with step by step counseling to finish school, acquire a GED, get involved with community service, plan a career, and more. We show our young adult clients that a happy sober life is possible with expert counseling and guidance. Once our clients begin to feel better, they start to engage in sober and fun activities. It is very important for our young people to learn that this life can be exciting and fulfilling without the aid of drugs or alcohol.
