I have been an enthusiastic self-taught artist for the majority of my life, but my exuberance for art has led me to much curiosity about ways to make myself a better artist, and hopefully a better human being. One of my main focus and interest is in painting architectural monuments and landscapes. The former, because I believe the old monuments carry messages from our ancestors to the next generations, and also I admire their artistic values. My interest in painting landscapes is because of my deep love and appreciation for the nature and its beauties. My preferred medium is oil on canvas, but I also use charcoal on paper, and water color occasionally. I tend to use the technique of "lost and found" edges (losing a likeness and finding it again and again) in my paintings, in order to portray a more realistic reflection of my subjects. I choose my subjects very carefully, from a variety of sources, including my own traveling around the world.
I love to capture my carefully selected subjects within their natural surroundings, with their true colors. I want my viewers to feel the same way, as I do when I look at a scene or a monument, and appreciate their beauty and strength
