Oh man my kids LOVE coming here. We've been here 3 years in a row and it's always such a fun time. There are a ton of nerds and half of the people look like they grabbed the weirdest thing in their closet and decided to wear it here but it's all in good fun and everyone is having a great time.
Very interesting place. Was quite surprised how large it was and the parking area was huge. They did have handicap parking, which got us much closer. There are all sorts of things to do, we should have planned better. We did more walking than we needed to do. There are lots of "theaters" with different shows all day long. Some more entertaining than others, depending on your point of view. There are lots of rides for the kids. Lots of food and sweets. Really enjoyed the jousting, you might want to go early. We got there about 1/2 hour early, and the stands were packed. We got to sit on a handicap bench at the ground level. Seems pricey, but for what you get, it is very reasonable.
This was the second year we've attended the Renaissance festival and had as much fun as the first time! This year, we dressed up for the event and enjoyed it all more for it! The food and drinks are reasonably priced, and the shops sell unique hand-crafted items of all types of varying prices. The entertainment was awesome... the performers absolutely love what they do and it shines through in their performances. I strongly suggest going at least once for the experience. Chances are you'll make it an annual event!
One of the coolest and funnest festivals I have been to. There are so many shows to see, so many games to play and also good food options. You would need a full day to get to experience most of it.
My friends and I all had a blast at the Arizona Renaissance Festival. For the price, the festival was most definitely worth it. The food was really good, the shows were very entertaining, and the overall atmosphere was amazing! I highly recommend experiencing the Arizona Renaissance Festival!
This is a great place for all to come and experience fun in the form of a historic renaissance. Great shows, crafts, and so much more.... I myself give kids treasure while I'm there to enhance both my experience and theirs.

A 50-acre Artisan Marketplace With endless entertainments, great food, and shopping are found around every turn and path in the Festival village of Fairhaven.
If it wasn’t super crowded and for Arizona’s scorching heat, we would have enjoyed this. Lines were long going in and getting food. I could not believe it was more crowded than Disneyland. Food prices were okay. $14 for a turkey leg, not so bad considering the taste was decent. Food places will only take cash but most vendors will accept cash or card. I liked the rides. Vendors were nice but be warned, the items are double triple the price. They had safety personels everywhere so it felt safe. There were a lot of cool stuff to look at. Shops were not wheelchair or wagon accessible. Prepare a lot of sunscreen, dress as thinly as possible and prepare a lot of money if you want to buy stuffs.
I've been going there since 2005?. I always try to go a whole weekend. The food, shows and games are always great. The price has gone up for EVERYTHING but it's worth it.
Very very busy and packed in the morning. But the food is very good. Ticket prices have gone up. But allot of things there have gone up too. But still its well worth it for the shows they have. Although you need to go to there website to see that they have going for the weekends. This weekend was time travelers weekend.
