Very nice and beautiful place to camp!! The office lady was very kind and gave us a handwritten thank you card for staying plus a huge lemon! The space we got was huge with a brick patio and lighted greenery arch as an entrance! They’re have a beautiful pond with decks for those camp spots we did not have those however, they look amazing along with a gorgeous pathway halfway around the pond. There is even a small greenhouse and art studio, although the art studio seemed closed. Bathrooms and laundry room were well kept up and even provided games and books to rent! Huge dog park for you pets and very pretty! Definitely on our list to stay here again
The office staff/owners are very nice. Location is good. Minimal road no train noise. Campground slightly wooded. RV site average size with some grass. Tall lattice with beautiful vine giving lots of privacy. Sites are gravel mostly level. The campground is very clean. Nice fire pit and picnic tables. I did not use the public bathroom/shower. Small grassy area well groomed. Beautiful landscaping. There were no kids around - no facilities for them. The roads in the campground are adequate. Wifi poor speed shared with all guests password protected. All in all a very nice and charming place. I would come back if in the area.
If you have your own internet service, this is the perfect place to stay. It was beautiful, quiet, welcoming, and wonderful. It may be more for the older crowd as I didn’t see any small children. The grounds are beyond beautiful, the hosts were fantastic, and the personal touches were everywhere. The bathrooms were clean and spacious. There is a beautiful pond and artist studio on site and it’s directly across the road from Sumeg State Park. You can tell the owners and hosts take pride in the little details. We even got a goodie bag with a thank you card for staying and they waived the fee for my adult son with autism. There was very limited internet service so bring your own or do without if that’s a priority, but I highly recommend this park for rest, relaxation, and enjoying the beauty of Trinidad.
Such a cute and quiet place with clean hot showers, very friendly staff, pond, and mosquitoes were NOT a problem at all. Will certainly be back if we go to the redwoods again! Thank you.Rooms: 5/5
The road/path was one of the tightest we have been on this trip. The gardens and flowers are beautiful. We stayed in a 5th WheelService: 3/5
We’ve been in dozens of rv parks in the last three months and this one has the best wi-fi. Also, they don’t upcharge for showers
Gorgeous location. The grounds are well maintained and tucked into a beautiful forest. The hostess was very pleasant and the check in was quick. We stayed in site 6, which has a deck over looking the pond and it was ideal for a glass of wine in the evening and our coffee in the morning. There is laundry on site as well as a small dog run. The location of park is about a 1/4 mile from Sue-Meg SP. I’d highly recommend this location if you’re travel plans have you venturing this way.
Wasn't sure what to expect when I showed up 8/29/22 for 2 nights because of some of the lower reviews here. A very polite man checked us in quickly and a short time later brought a " thank you for staying" card along with some little treats, which I thought was really nice. The campground resort is amazingly beautiful and well kept with all the amenities you'd expect and more from such a reasonably priced place. We had planned on seeing redwoods at several of the locations for both days but ended up spending a whole day at the Patrick's Point/Sue-Meg that boarder Azalea. Such an amazing place. Read the rules and regulations before booking. Follow said rules while you're here and you'll have an amazing stay in a beautiful local. Thanks
Great place. Easy level sites. Nice little pond. Beautiful bushes and flowers. Little pricey.
Space 37. Nice grounds, really quiet. checking in was easy. We have a 27ft fifth wheel and the shrubbery on both sides of the site is nice for privacy but the space is so narrow that it wouldn't have been comfortable sitting out there. We didn't have a fire pit as stated and the wifi is almost non existent. The Picnic table was out in the drive area which didn't do us much good. I don't think I would stay again without selecting my spot. There were numerous empty spots but they stick you in the worst ones it appears.
