Stopped by yesterday to check it out. Loved it! I got a salad and a sandwich and the portions were generous and the food tasted amazing. In addition to the deli section you can get all sorts of products from the Middle East and Europe. I’m definitely going back and bringing friends. Oh yea, and the staff is friendly and helpful.
Yestarday I bought one full chicken and two chicken legs it costed me $39. They sell meat very expensive on the name of halal Lol. Walmart meat is more cheaper and fresher than babylone meat. Also I noted that if you will use your EBT Card they will deduce extra money.
Amazing place and very good collection of diverse food items. It's a Middle Eastern shop where you can find various spices and condiments. This is a halal shop too. You can buy chicken and beef from this place. It also has a restaurant. You can either eat here or take away food to your home. They also give a $10 coupon for the restaurant if you spend $100.
I love shopping for stuff here that i miss from my home country.
They have the best Arabic tea and the bread are so good!
Not gonna lie - great food, great selection, and great people! Give yourself at least 30 minutes to browse the store, as there are so many imported specialty items of high-quality anything less than a 30-minute excursion is a crime against humanity. I am from the Ann Arbor/Dearborn/Metro Detroit area originally Dearborn is home to the largest Muslim population, per capita, in the United States, and this is a grocery I would expect to see there. Babylon Market is truly exceptional! The only - and I mean ONLY - particular I don't like about Babylon Market is they import & stock goods from Israel. Given the current apartheid conditions Israel enforces over the West Bank & Gaza, I don't believe anyone should do business with the Israeli regime or Israeli businesses, especially those based in the occupied territories. But the owners & staff of Babylon should be able to tell where products are imported from if the packaging is unclear. Frequent this business! You will leave impressed. Oh, and they have a takeout restaurant in the back of the store. Don't miss it! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
Such a great variety and so much you dont see at a place like Walmart.Don't think I'd ever have tried Bulgur without them but I think eating rice will forever be a disappointment since.
They mace most of the middle eastern ingredients you’ll need. I was able to find the tea ingredients, spices, and canned items I needed for all my cooking needs. The staff is friendly, the store is very well stocked and has a small area to order food. Overall great experience
Beautiful cuts of halal meat large variety of fruits and vegetables along with spices... I love this place
Such an amazing array of pickles one of my favorite foods and much much more I'd love to peruse further - but customer service I found nonexistent, seemingly even unfriendly to someone who was admittedly and clearly an outsider and a Middle Eastern foods beginner. But: on today's otherwise fun scouting tour of several small specialty and ethnic grocery stores researching, putting together recommendation lists for some groups planning exploration and events 2021-2022 this visit to Babylon was the ONLY sad experience among the lot, so now it's off my growing list of future reference possibilities.
