Bacaro Italian Tavern

While visiting family and friends on Long Island I came here to eat one night. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. The service to great. Atmosphere was great too. The meals were BIG portions, enough that I had leftovers the following night. The food was fresh and perfectly seasoned. It was my friends first time here that is a local and he was impressed how good everything was. I HIGHLY suggest this establishment if you are looking for good eats locally. TIP: Make reservations in advance.

We had my son’s 1st birthday party at Bacaro’s this past Sunday and they did a fabulous job! The waitresses and bartender were so friendly and helpful, the food and service were amazing and the catering manager made everything so easy for us! Thank you guys so much!

I’ve been dining here for years and the food is always amazing. Joe’s dishes are amazing and fresh. Appreciate the staff and love the bar atmosphere.

We decided to have Sunday dinner at Bacaro and it did not disappoint. Delicious food, drinks were strong and dessert delectable. The Thai Calamari appetizer was great. It can definitely serve about 4 people. I had the Sunday Sauce. There was enough for 3 people so I got leftovers He had raviolis and devoured the entire plate. For dessert we shared a slice of Almond Tiramisu which was washed down with a smooth Latte. The service was superb. The last few restaurants I've been to can get pointers from Baraco for being pleasant, friendly, clean and attentive. It's a finely run operation.

Went for dinner with girlfriends recently, everything was so great. All of the food was so good, our server was kind and attentive. After dinner we went to the bar for cocktails, amanda and Jess were a lot of fun and really nice, they kept the signature cocktails flowing! Highly recommend!! I’ll definitely be back!Food: 5/5

This is my new favorite Italian spot. Cozy, friendly and AMAZING FOOD!!!!! Everything I ordered was outstanding. The server was Mike and he gave us awesome service. Their special cocktails were incredible. Live entertainment was a great. The food is worth every penny. Generous portions and enough to bring home. Love, Love, Love. 5 star all day long!

Really nice place! Food really good, nice ambiance. Amanda, the bartender how sweet and attentive she is!! In a really busy Saturday night she makes you feel welcomed and important she pays attention to you all the time! Live music! A really nice place to go! I order a homemade lasagna and a ruby red martini! Really good, high quality food.. highly recommend!

My wife and I had dinner there. First time long time. Fantastic food and atmosphere. Portions were large. My kinda place for Italian food. TJ was great as my waiter. Definitely recommended. Food: 5/5

My best friend & her future in-laws hosted a bridal shower for her daughter on Sat here. After weeks of planning, they booked out the entire restaurant for this special event. Friends & family attended from near & far to celebrate, the event was perfect with the exception of an extremely rude server. While the food was good, the service was not. She did not look happy to be working. She mumbled that we messed up her order by switching seats. She tossed a fork on the table because she was in such a hurry. She didn't follow up with us at all to see if we needed anything. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but this is her job. There are plenty of other Italian restaurant with good food & better service.

My sister had my niece bridal shower at Bacaro. Jessica was wonderful she really made things happen for my sister. The food was very good and while there was one waitress who had her period the rest of the staff was great. When we arrived in the pouring rain the staff emptied all the cars with all the decoration. I recommend highly.
