Just happened to be in the neighborhood and saw the sign "Back in Time" restaurant. Hours are 6am to 2pm closed Sundays. Walked in and really felt the ambiance. Checkered floor, red chairs, boothes, cabinets, and Betty Boop statue along with pictures and other items that take you "back in time." The waitress was quick to acknowledge our arrival. The food was served reasonably quick as we drank hot coffee as we waited. The food was delicious, portions large and seasoned well. We ordered pancakes and biscuits with white gravy, sprinkled with tasty ham and sausage and cheese, and served with hash browns. The omlette was made to order with ham and cheese and hash browns. Spent around $40 for three adults, including drinks and tip. My 95 year old Mom loved the experience and food. Parking: Parking lot. If full street parking is available. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp.
Pretty good little place for breakfast/brunch. Nice people, good food, good prices. Great selection of old fashion sodas. The only knock... The white gravy, tastes packaged and floury. Make it from scratch or switch brands, throw a little sausage grease in there. LOL. But everything else is very good.Food: 4/5
This is definitely a hidden gem favorite in Muskogee for me. We discovered it and fell in love instantly! The staff went above and beyond and catered to our every need. The food was cooked perfectly, and our coffee cups were never empty! Talk about a Perfect breakfast date spot! Try the French toast or the pancakes! The batter was one of a kind. Thanks again for the great experience and filling our bellies!
Very nice place! Old timey great service and great Americana food. I enjoyed the pancake breakfast and it was great! Good prices and amazing people. Kid-friendliness: Lots of sitting areas and room for kiddos.
Back in time has great food. Made just how you order it. The service is exceptional to say the least. If you haven't tried the cheeseburger quesadilla, it's awesome I recommend it!Food: 5/5
Excellent Service from Friendly staff and superior Food! My whole family of 9 enjoyed every bite! Sorry, I didn’t get more pictures of the amazing food!
Food is fine—nothing special, but fine for a greasy spoon diner. The thing that makes me not wish to come back is the added charges I was hit with without being told ahead of time they would be there 1.55 for a tiny thing of salsa—really?? If I knew I could decide if I wanted the items or not, instead of being surprised at the register. I remember now why I had only been here once before. I got hit with charges that time as well, and it had been long enough ago that I had forgotten. I will make a note on my map to never eat here again. It’s really poor service to not warn someone if they are adding charges to their bill. I have NEVER paid a fee to get salsa with breakfast before. In addition to the other extra costs, I am really not interested in eating here. Ridiculous.
1st visit, breakfast tasted good from OKC.Food: 4/5
Oddest tasting pancakes we've ever had. Hubby even left his.Food: 2/5
Absolutely horrible service & food. We were served 6 month expired sour cream and told it was just purchased and there was nothing they could/would do. Walked out and left all the food on the table. Enjoy eating that loss.
