The Association was incorporated on December 4, 1958 and includes law enforcement officers from the Back Mountain and West Side Communities.
A Non-Profit Police Organization
The purposes for which this organization was organized are to secure closer official personal relationship among the police officers and member departments of the Association; to secure unity of action in police matters; to elevate the standards of the police officers and member departments of the Association; the adoption of human efforts in the enforcement of laws; to devise and suggest ways and means for the advancement of a uniform police system among member departments of the Association; the furtherance by legislation of pension, relief, and civil service laws affecting police officers; and, the advancement of all matters pertaining to the prevention and detection of crime. To develop and implement charitable programs, designed to assist those in need, and to foster positive relationships between Law Enforcement and the community.
