Came here for lunch. The restaurant wasn't busy but there was a little wait to be seated. Once we were seated, our waiter, Brandon immediately greeted us. We ordered the Acl Turkey sandwich and the Chicken Parmesan sandwich. The turkey sandwich was pretty dry. It definitely could have used a bit more sauce on it. I would rate it a 3 out of 5. The chicken parmesan sandwich was better, giving it 4 out of 5 for flavor. Steak fries were under cooked but the regular fries were great. The restaurant was clean including the bathrooms. Service was excellent and Brandon really made our experience great. Overall, if you are looking for an average restaurant with reasonably priced food, this would be a good place to go. Parking: This restaurant is in a shopping area with lots of other businesses. Do not follow google if it tells you to turn before the light and take you in the back way behind all of them. Plenty of parking right at the restaurant and also on the side for those towing trailers. Had no issue finding parking.
Came from Phoenix to Payson to hike. Decided to stop in. Had the cheese curds and Supreme pizza. Not worth the money. The cheese curds weren't the best and the basket is small for $14. The pizza was great, but not worth $30. Our server appeared to be doing the job of 4 people and he only checked on us before our pizza came to refill our drinks. I would not come back due to the high prices.
The food is amazing and Tamara is a great personable server. This place is a must do. Try their Garlic Parmesan wings, they are very well done and huge!! The Blue cheese dressing is amazing and the Mac and Cheese is what food fantasies are made of!!Food: 5/5
Great place, good food, very dog friendly patio. Food is a good 4, standard bar food. Also brings your dog their own water bowl and cookie. Great service. Will be coming back with our dog all the time.Food: 4/5
We stopped here last June after camping and although the service was pretty bad then the food was really good. We just went camping for Labor Day and thought we would make it a tradition to stop here for food after camping trips. We sat for 20 minutes without being greeted, then the manager finally came by and said he would "see what the server situation was". A few minutes later we ordered our drinks and an appetizer. Got our drinks in a decent amount of time. After more than 20 more minutes without our appetizer being delivered or our orders taken, we finally saw our server again and told him we didn't have time to wait to place our order and have it made if it was this long already for just the appetizer. He said okay and brought us tab, still before the appetizer even came!!!! We are a family of 5 and they brought us 4 plates, 3 of which were dirty. Then the appetizer finally came, we had put our card out to pay right after he dropped the bill, but by the time we were done eating and had finished our beers, he still hadn't picked it up, we had to go to the front and ask them to process our check. $46 for 3 sodas, 2 beers and an appetizer. Then we had to go buy actual food somewhere else. So much for that becoming a family tradition. We won't be going back.
Decided to try something new when passing through Payson. The service here was great, very friendly staff. There are two sections, one feels more bar like and the other family friendly. We started with fried pickles which were good, crispy with a good flavor and ranch to dip. The burgers, however, were both over done, dry and fell very flat. We asked for them to be cooked medium but well done is all they knew and we didn't have the time to send them back. The bun had a decent flavor but it didn't make up for the rest. Be sure to order the cookie for dessert, it was tasty and well done.
I decided to give them another try since I was across the parking lot at Petsmart. The host asked me if I had been here before, and I replied once but never got to eat. He immediately asked me if I had a dog that came in with me and pointed to the seat that we sat the previous time. Yes, I replied. He said he read my review and apologized for my previous visit. Saying that they were working hard at changing the customer service to be much better and was happy that I decided to give them another try. I have to say the service was way above my expectations. I came in for a burger, but the wings another patron had ordered changed my mind. The bartender suggested a sampler so I could try their other foods as well. I agreed but asked for a half order of bone in wings also. The food was really good. I have to say I was really impressed considering how disappointed I was the first time. They even offered ice and bacon for my service dog. I will definitely give them another try!
We never tried it before and decided to order take out today... the burger was definitely the frozen kind with no added salt or pepper and was not worth it at all, my lettuce was wilted very much, the fries where not crispy at all or even close to being what anyone would consider a French fry very soggy. The ranch tasted plain. The fried pickles were soggy as well. My sons chicken strips were odd colored and not tasty. We were very disappointed and definitely won't be getting any of these items from there again. A waste of almost $50 forsure.
We were looking for something a little different than the chains. This fit the Bill. The menu is basically burgers, sandwiches, pizzas and salads but they have some unique twists on each of these. And their extras are really fun. The Mac and cheese bites are wow. If you feel adventurous try the Payson poutine. It’s a Canadian dish that originated in Quebec in the 1950s made up fries and cheese curds in a delicious brown gravy and topped with two eggs over easy. Never had anything like it but I’ll want to come back for it again. The burger was also tasty. Nice atmosphere and great service. The staff knew just about everyone who came through the door by name.
Service was not the greatest. We waited for our food for some time while other customers were seated and served right away. The server never came to check on how our food was, or, if we needed a refill. We had to ask for our check when we were ready to go. It was also my husband's birthday. Word of advice- sit in the bar, you might get better service there.
