Backyard Heirlooms has been established since 1993 producing top of the line, originally designed birdhouses' bird feeders and custom replica's of customers homes and businesses. Allen's' love of birds and skill with wood are apparent in all of his work. He has had years invested in the perfection of his art with many outstanding accomplishments and credits. Allen is the only State Juried member, ever, in his medium, in "The League of New Hampshire Craftsman", 64 year history. He has been featured in numerous magazines and newspapers such as "Country Livings Special Garden Issue", June 1999. "The Boston Globe" has done two feature stories one in Nov 1994 and Aug. 1996 and several more.
