I purchased a large curio cabinet. The cabinet was a floor model with a clearance price tag of a little over 2 grand. Our sales woman was all about making a sale! Promises were made and we were told if we needed anything at all to call. Baer’s policy on a floor model is they do not fix anything that is already broken but the sales woman assured me if the delivery people broke some thing they would fix it, and after looking the cabinet over closely at see what condition it was in, I realized it was in pristine condition, so we purchased it. On the day of delivery the team that brought it into my home and unpacked it evidently pushed in one of the glass inserts on the side panel. They also lost one of the pegs that held a glass shelf and did not level the cabinet at the base so it was tipping forward, and with a weight of almost 300 pounds I was scared to get near the because it was leaning so far forward. I tried to get a hold of our sales lady and I left a couple of messages and she did not return my call. After a 4th attempt I got lucky, she was at work and they called her to the phone. She said that she would get a cabinet guy out to fix the problems and have the customer service center call me. The customer service center called and said they would deliver the missing peg and have the delivery people put in the last glass shelf. I complained about the side glass insert being pushed out and the cabinet tipping forward and that I was really apprehensive about getting near the cabinet. The second crew arrived from Pompano Beach Main guy was named Will and he was amazing!!! this crew was absolutely wonderful. They pushed back in the glass side insert and re-attached the strip holding it in. They also adjusted the door because it wouldn’t stay closed properly, they brought a peg and put my shelves back in. They also fixed the tipping forward of the cabinet. The first set of delivery people did not adjust the adjusters at the base so that the cabinet would set level. Therefore that was why it was tipping forward. They also found a lot of screws and loose pieces that had fallen down under the two pull out drawers on the base while being delivered. The back cabinet braces had only been attached with one screw on each brace from the original delivery crew! Therefore it was not safe either so they added more screws that they found in the base underneath the drawers and the cabinet is in perfect condition now and I love it!! Again the second crew that came out from Pompano Beach were amazing. The first crew left me with a cabinet that actually was dangerous to be around in my home! Kudos to the second crew that fixed everything that the first crew had messed up! This cabinet is gorgeous. It’s a wonderful piece of furniture, and I am thrilled with it now! Would I do business with their store again? More than likely yes, but I would not use the same sales person at all. She did not care whether I was happy or not after she made the sale and I would insist on a different delivery crew. They do have some beautiful pieces, but I’ll make sure the next time I do not buy a floor model that way I’m not stuck with something that’s been damaged during delivery. Thankfully, we got a crew that cared enough to go above and beyond what the customer service sent them to do! The original delivery crew needs to be retrained evidently. I would like to update my review as the problem has been solved by Bears branch manager and the sales person Kelly. Which’s she’s a very nice person and highly recommended. They send my brand new bed and i can’t wait to receive my sofa once it’s available at stock. My order was messed up. The delivery mens who came to my home was unprofessional. They came was the wrong order, the bed that I ordered was a brand new bed. They send me a dirty bed missing one panel. It was a floor simple has been sold for another customer and the other customer name was on the tag. The sofa was brand new, when they open it. I found a big mark on it. They said either refuse it or keep it and we will send a technician. I said I need another sofa. Ended up that they call the manager of the delivery and he said I will send a brand new sofa and keep this until you receive another one because I said I have a visitors coming to stay at my home and I don’t have any sofa to let them sit on. The second day I went to the Bears store, the branch manager was really nice he and the sales person was nice. They was trying to solve the issue and they refund 149$ delivery fees. After they talked with the corporate and I suppose to receive another bed, The delivery call me again and they said your bed is missing a panel and we don’t have no more in stock and no more sofa in stock. I believe that they gave the other customer my bed and they only have the old bed that came to my home before because it was missing a panel as well. No body call me again, no one from customer service responding to me. Bad customer service. I don’t know what will happen to my order.
I would give zero stars to customer service and their response time in resolving the issue. We bought several pieces of furniture. The furniture quality is good. The salesperson who helped was excellent. But after that it’s just been a poor show. Our furniture was delivered to us on April 18th, 2023. While assembling the bed they realized that they were missing a bed post. So the white glove delivery people said that they will send their report about the missing bed post/pole to the furniture warehouse and it’s a simple resolution. We would get the bed pole and they will come back to assemble the bed. It’s been a month now and I still do not have the bed assembled. All the parts are just laying on the floor. The second piece is a recliner chair that needs to be replaced and the customer service person I talked to today said she doesn’t know if it has even been shipped yet. I’m at my wits end. Most horrible experience and night mare to have things replaced and correct parts being sent. And I still don’t know when the bed will be fixed and the recliner replaced.
The selection of furniture at Baer’s is excellent and their prices can’t be beat. Ellen helped me with my purchase of a Tommy Bahama Cal King Canopy Bed and delivery was so smooth. There were tricky angles to navigate in my home and the delivery guys were careful moving in all the pieces. They were very quick to assemble the bed and even helped me move my old bed frame out. The whole process was easy and professional and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase
Great service! From Stewart helping us decide what we wanted, to following up with me every few weeks after 6 mo window. We could not take delivery right away as house was not finished. He made sure I was kept in loop. Three great delivery guys came to house to set up. Wonderful job! Will buy here again.
Gigi was our sales rep and was extremely helpful in helping us with our purchase. The delivery staff was fantastic. They arrived on time and did a great job setting up the items that we purchased. Baer’s furniture has great quality merchandise and will be buying more furniture from them in the future. Gigi made the entry experience a real Pleasure. She was very professional and knowledgeable.
Nice selection of furniture. Our salesperson was very friendly and professional, wasn’t on top of us while we were looking but close by if we had any questions. Our delivery went smoothly and on time. The delivery guys were great as well. Someone called us before the delivery guys left just to make sure there were no problems and we were completely happy with everything. We will definitely shop here again and recommend your store to all our new neighbors here in The Villages. It’s not common today to find a business where customer satisfaction is their biggest priority.
Amy Rice, our sales person, was very helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. The furniture we ordered was delivered on time and the delivery men were very efficient and polite. We were very pleased with our purchase from Baer’s as well as the service we received. Would definitely recommend Baer’s to anyone in the market for new furniture.
Jamie greeted us at the door and we said we wanted a recliner. Jamie took the time to show us all the recliners on the floor, giving us good information on each such as manufacturer, quality and availability. He helped us choose the perfect one and it was delivered the following week! Perfect! And we love our purchase. We will be back again! Our favorite furniture store.
Quality furniture, just had 3 pieces damaged during their trip here. 2 items hopefully will be repaired here at our house. The 3rd piece, foot board for our king size bed, is beyond repair. Hopefully we will receive a replacement soon so we can sleep in our bed new home. The salesman, Benjamin, has been wonderful and the delivery guys were great!
