baked. is an afternoon and evening bakery on Bend's westside, dedicated to sourcing the highest quality local and regional ingredients to use in their rustic scratch breads, pies and pastries. Baked. mixes all bread and pie dough by hand, the old-fashioned way, and unloads bread right out of the oven into customers hands every afternoon (Tuesday through Saturday; 4pm is a great time to get a full selection). Many pastries and breads are baked each day, but check in to see what the day's specialty is. Most days you'll find Dancing Cow Farm shredded beef empanadas, Lone Pine espresso truffles, baguettes and hearth breads baked with locally grown and milled whole wheat flour from Rainshadow Organics, to name a few of the over 25 products served each day out of baked's hole-in-the-wall space.
