There are a lot of mixed/negative reviews, but my experience was awesome. I purchased a Millermatic 220 with a bunch of accessories. Requests for pricing/quotes were very prompt. All questions were answered quickly. Order was placed on a Tuesday and was all on my door Friday with free shipping. I will definitely be using them for anything in the future!
I ordered a new welding helmet online. Package arrived faster then expected in two days. So far happy with my experience
Don't order from this joke of a store. I ordered a pair of fr coveralls and they did not fit when I received them. I had to pay shipping, and a restock fee. It took two weeks of emails back and forth to even get a shipping label to return the item. I ended getting less then half the money I originally spent on the coveralls. Just an all around bad experience.
They let me order an out of stock item and also let me sit and wait for that order to come with no communication for over 10 days when I had 3-5 day shipping. Got tired of waiting in the dark, and reached out myself. They filled me in, I told them give me my money back. My money appeared back in my account two days later.
Absolutely horrible experience. Ordered two welding machines needed for a shutdown on a job. Called to make sure they had them in stock before ordering. I paid for two day air shipping on 7/16. Called on 7/20 and the items had still not been shipped!!!! Customer service didn't care about the position they put my company in and made no effort to overnight the items to make up for the issue.
Don't shop here. I ordered the wrong parts for my tig torch and asked if I could exchange them for the correct parts. They told me I would have to pay shipping and 15% restocking fee. I agreed to pay the fees and ship the parts back. They asked for a picture of the package of parts so I opened the container to show them it was all there. This container was in the same shape I received it. Once they received the package they said they would not refund me because it was damaged and missing packaging. I asked for a picture, which they sent. It appeared exactly like I received it. No wonder companies are going out of business because of Amazon.
I purchased a welder from Bakers, when I when in later to buy accessories the sales person told me my machine is junk. When I asked him why he didn't really have any good reasons. Don't trash talk your customers assets, especially if your company is the one who sold it to them! This is on top of the sales people being generally unhelpful. I have had great interactions with a salesman at a different location and their website is nice.
They duped me into believing they had the product in stock took my money sent me one part of my order they had in stock. Never informed me that the ranger 330mpx was on back order for 3 monthswanted my money back they told me I had to pay the shipping and restocking feeoffered an upgrade of EFI model that they had in stock $600 more made me pay the current inflated price. They offered no resolve. when ever they got a question from me they didn’t like they just didn’t answer on there text appand tried to push me out the door. In the market for 2 more machines in the next few months and won’t be buying from them! There website still doesn’t say the 330mpx is back ordered but has been updated to reflect updated higher prices.
I'm just not sure what I could have done differently. I ordered a new Trailblazer through the lease company they recommend. I also tried to order an extension cable on the same ticket. I didn't get any updates about the order as it went through the process and finally got the tracking info 2 days after it shipped to the wrong address. Several emails asking about the cable and free cover Black Friday special were completely ignored which meant that I didn't get the cable and now have a welder without the cable I need to run my Suitcase on it. Had I known it didn't get on the ticket I could have ordered it and had it here. I guess the free cover was a hoax as that issue was never responded to either. I'll be buying my accessories and equipment elsewhere from now on as well as no longer advising my students in the plasma cutting workshops I do to get their Hypertherm torches and consumables from this vendor. They have a solid reputation, I have no idea what I did wrong to be treated this way this time....
Horrible customer service and horrible or very lack of communication. I ordered something and ordered the wrong size realized literally moments after making the order. I immediately sent a email, didn't hear anything back 2 days later so I sent another email. 3 days later im told they can't do anything bc it is to far into the process. I then ask to exchange for the correct size once again no email back for days so I email AGAIN 3 days later im told I have to pay $13 shipping to send them the package back that they were never suppose to send me and then another $13 in shipping for them to send me the correct size. So I ask to just do a return and be done with them and once again nothing. Was suppose to be a Christmas gift but it has taken a month just to get a respond from them. I won't even be able to get a return and be able to replace the $60 gift brute Christmas
