Welcome to the official Facebook home of the Baker University Choirs!
The three Baker University choirs are led by Dr. Ryan Olsen, Director of Choral Ensembles.
Concert Choir is the premier large choral ensemble of the Baker choral division, including students from all areas of study. One of the most active performing groups on campus, the Concert Choir sings for campus concerts, Baker chapel services, official University events, as well as area church services. The Concert Choir has toured across the United States and abroad.
The University Community Choir is a non-auditioned group of students, staff, and community members. This large ensemble rehearses on Thursday nights and sings music from a variety of genres. No audition or previous choir experience is required, only a passion for music and a desire to share that passion. The group debuted in spring 2010.
Chamber Singers is a small select ensemble that enhances many campus and community events year-round with a variety of music from Renaissance Madrigals to vocal jazz.
The mission of the Baker University Department of Music is to provide widely visible, superior quality support to the educational mission of Baker University through the development of professional and vocational musicians for responsible leadership in musical service to the community.
