We are a small pre K - 8 school in Bakersfield, Vermont. We are a PBIS school and our three school wide expectations are Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Ready to Learn.
Bakersfield Elementary Middle School is a pre K-8 school in Bakersfield, Vermont.
Our pre school program serves 3 year old children and families two sessions weekly, and 4 year old children and families three sessions weekly.
Our Kindergarten through grade 4 program is organized with a self-contained class at each level. Grades 5-8 operate as a middle school.
We currently enroll 155 students. We have 18 teachers, 7 para educators and 5 support staff. Our school is governed and guided by a 5 member board of school directors. Our school district is a member district of the Franklin Northeast Supervisory Union.
The Bakersfield Elementary Middle School exists for the benefit of students. Our school will foster each child’s positive self image and help children realize their full potentials in academic, physical, social, and artistic areas.
