I attended a martial arts seminar here and I cannot even scratch the surface on how wonderful this place is. The instructors here are amazing people. If you want to learn traditional martial arts, I highly recommend checking it out. Sensei Chris Moulinier hosted a fantastic seminar and made all of us from out of state feel so welcome. It's impressive to say that you feel like you're coming home when you enter a dojo. We gained some wonderful knowledge from Sensei Alex Wall about Wing Chun Kung Ful and Sensei Chesseley Robinson showed us some insightful TaeKwonDo tips. I have to say I was even more impressed with how attentive, respectful, and engaged the children were during the seminar. A full day event can be exhausting and they were all on their best behavior the entire day. I hope they'll host the seminar again next year!

Cannot say enough positive things about Balance Martial Arts! Wonderful people, great life lessons for my kids, and the online classes have provided normalcy for my kids throughout these past few months. My kids have gained confidence while also gaining physical strength. You will not find a better place!

Excellent instructors. Thanks to Sensei Chris and Sensei Stefan, not only have i lost 10 lbs in 3months, my back problems have been resolved. They modify the exercises according to your health conditions. My kids were in karate and their grades have improved. They have a lot of patience and are really sweet to small kids. Highly recommend them .

We really love it here. Below are the reasons we ultimately chose to take lessons here as opposed to somewhere else: -they give you a week of free classes, not just one, so you can get a better idea of what classes are like -when I signed up for the free trial, they asked me about my 4yo son and why I wanted to enroll him in karate. They asked what my goals were for him. They asked if I had any concerns they should work on confidence, focus, listening, etc.. Other places we visited never asked me any questions about him or tried to get to know him. -they give you a free uniform -they don't charge hundreds of dollars up front one place we visited wanted $300 after only one trial lesson -they don't pressure you to sign up; they even encouraged me to try other places before making a decision Finally, here's a story that further confirms we chose the right place: I messed up the time of class one evening and showed up as class ended. Sensei Chris the owner and lead instructor asked an assistant instructor to give my 4yo a private lesson so he wouldn't go home disappointed.

Sensei Chris and Sensei Stefan are amazing teachers for children. We have been taking our 5 yr old son there for a year, and his self discipline and respect for others has truly grown. He loves going to classes and we like how much he is able to focus!

We were lucky to find a great place for karate the first time around after online research. The dojo is family run and the husband and wife are both black belt Senseis. They are thoughtful to their students in their teaching style for each belt level and how each student is progressing. They are mindful of how everything is run as they are always looking to improve. They also provide monthly themes such as responsibility, focus, while instilling respect and discipline in each class. Great overall dojo!

Sensei Chris and Sensei Stefan are amazing with kids. My daughter loves her classes so much! She looks forward to attending each week.

For martial arts instruction for your children or yourself, this is definitely the place to go. First, it's convenient, right between Morrisville and Cary in the Target shopping center, so you can drop your kids off for a class and run tons of errands. Second, the instruction and attention your kids get is first-rate--this is the kind of class that will actually make a difference for your kids, in their confidence, attitude, and interactions. Can't recommend this program highly enough, and the fitness kickboxing is a killer workout, too!

This dojo is amazing! Sensei Chris and Sensei Stefan are exceptional teachers. They are so patient and caring, and make every class a great experience.
