Baldwin Cafe
"Small diner that has been at this location in Orion Township since 1976. Hasn't changed much except for a few remodels over the years. Coneys are the same recipe for 44 years. Best breakfast prices around. We will make you a special order if we have the ingredients, just ask. Hope to see you soon!"

Amazing family cozy restaurant with affordable delicious food. It was my first time eating here and it was a really nice experience. I felt like visiting family, and my aunt was cooking for me. I tried a ham and cheese chicken burger, and it was 100% comfort food, so tasty, fresh, and excellent flavors. Good coffee. There was only one waitress and she was so efficient and kind. Definitely will be back. Free onsite parking lot. Wheelchairs accesible. Cash or credit card accepted. I walked in, and there were seats available. Quick service. Good location.
The service here is really welcoming and fast paced. The waitresses are very kind and do their best. The wait time for food can be a little long since the kitchen is small and there's only one cook but it's good food. We stopped by here Saturday morning for brunch and we were a little sad that the prices went up significantly but that's how all restaurants are at the moment. The cook was very friendly, he came over and made sure everything he made was to our liking. They all seem very hard working and it's a good place to support a small business. We'll be back for sure!
Our first time here. PRICES ARE DOUBLE what they have posted. We were staying local to celebrate a birthday and attend a Scouting event. Staff were amazing! Definitely a local favorite spot, from conversations with others. The place is small and fills up fast - so can be a wait at times. We had no wait when we came in. Loved seeing they use real eggs and not egg substitute! Parking: Lots of parking located in a strip mall. Wheelchair accessibility: There are 2 doors to enter, but a wheel chair will go through. No steps. And booths are a nice height so standard wheelchairs can go at the end. Specialty wheelchairs may not fit under the tables.
Driven past here numerous times and decided to finally try it out. Seems like there are a good amount of regulars here. Prices are decent for your neighborhood "diner/greasy spoon type" establishment. The two coneys and fries was pretty good value, with plenty of fries. Coffee was hot and aligns with your diner cup of Joe. Looks like they have specials weekly as well. Workers know their regulars, what they want and are personable. One of the workers was giving all the kiddos a goodie or something from a bucket that they could choose from, so that's a nice little touch.
Baldwin Cafe has been a nostalgic neighborhood restaurant for me for as long as I can remember. The renovations that they had done adds a nice up to date touch. Service is typical for an in and out breakfast place. The establishment seems to run as a well oiled machine. As soon as one table leaves the table is cleared, wiped down, and the next party is seated. Service was busy but friendly.
Just your small town local diner. This was our first time here & will definitely be going back. They have hearty yummy food with great portions and good prices. It was nice to see a smart cook sauté up all the veggies first to make sure they were hot in the omelet. Wait staff is very friendly. Update: Our second time here and still just as good. The only complaint is we ordered a mushroom onion omelette and there were so many onions that is all we could taste. The Southern omelette was very good and the mashed potatoes with gravy even though they are instant we’re delicious!
The staff here are very friendly. That being said, nothing really stands out here. There was a long wait for the food after being seated, and the food was nothing special. Tried a ham & cheese omelette, pancakes, and sausage links. The best part was the wheat toast. Maybe I’ll come back to check out a burger or coney dog.
I don't usually complain and I understand that regulars are the bloodline for some places, however if you read this a don't automatically add your tip in because as a person of common sense, I did the math and yes you did, no 2 - 10 dollar meals cost 35 bucks and don't seve someone regardless of whatever before another that has been there 15 min before the regulars it's rude and that's why you got this review maybe you'll stop the favoritism maybe not but I call it like I see it, your food is good but your manners need work regardless of how busy you are, take this as constructive criticism.
Had a patty melts for three. They were very good and had a large plate of fries. Nice people working there!Food: 5/5
A classic greasy spoon diner with good food, and friendly staff who are happy to make recommendations. The omelettes are pretty big, with 3 eggs and other fillings as well. The server made sure that my coffee stayed full and warm which I always appreciate.
