Baldwin Fairchild is a very compassionate, beautiful, clean, well organized funeral home! Rick was our rep. He was wonderful! A very compassionate understanding man! Rick was very helpful in organizing all arrangements. Everything came together very professionally and comfortably! They went above and beyond! They made special arrangements for my sweet dad, 94, who was a world war 2 veteran! Rick arranged a military funeral for my dad at the cemetary! SO BEAUTIFUL!!! Joy who worked at the office organized all the photos and uplaoded everything so beautifully, for the Celebration Of Life ceremony we had at the funeral parlor! Joy was very sweet! She was very creative in the way she sort the photos out that were seen on the screen! She burned two Cd's of the Celebration Of Life ceremony being recorded live at the funeral parlor, that could be seen on the internet as well for those who were out of state! Thank you all so much! I am so incredibly disappointed in this place!!! Once they had our money they completely forgot about us! First, they messed up my father’s obituary. Second, they kept giving my mother the run around and not returning phone calls or emails. Lastly, my father passed away in August and this place still has not given us his ashes. Losing a love one is horrible and this place made the experience so much worse! My grandfather died the same week as my father and my grandmother had his ashes within a week. Shame on you for being so unprofessional and making my family’s loss worse!!!!
The funeral director and staff at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home were some of the kindest and most warmhearted people I have had the pleasure to encounter. My father had prepaid services arranged through a funeral home in Southwest Florida and when sudden illness resulted in his death, we selected Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home and had his services transferred. They were generous with their compassion and the funeral director, Rick Perry, handled every detail with sensitive grace, and absolute competence, offering my father a Celebration of Life service that reflected our love for our dearly departed and honored him in the fashion that we hoped for. I have nothing but glowing remarks and sentiments to express on behalf of this funeral home and it's director and staff. I highly recommend them and will utilize their services for anyone in my family including myself as we come to need them in future.
The dead of a loved one is never a pleasant event but from the first moment that we called and talked to Sally we felt that we came to the right place. She was very diligent and accurate on the information that she gave me. My father made all his funeral arrangements in Puerto Rico through Dignity and everything was honored here in Florida. The funeral director Rick Perry was on point, calmed and empathetic all the time and I consider he is the reason we are so grateful with the services we received. If you’re in the Oviedo area and you ever need funeral services for a loved one, this is the place. Just call Rick or Sally.
Funeral Director Rick Perry and his staff were extremely supportive and respectful in guiding us through arranging the timely and dignified handling of my wife's end of life affairs. Mr. Perry provided us with the resources to conduct our business in a manner consistent with our values and budget. The staff at Baldwin Fairchild Oviedo could always be reached to answer our questions and if answers weren't readily available, someone always got back to us in a timely manner. With so many decisions to be made and details to be managed, it was comforting to know that our wishes were being attended to with love and respect by a team of caring professionals.
During such a time of intense sadness and grief, the staff at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home in Oviedo was the perfect fit for our needs. Being assisted with compassion, kindness, and professionalism, I experienced great comfort while navigating through this process. I am forever grateful and will be looking to them to assist with making my arrangements with every confidence in their caring hands, my requests will be honored. The Funeral Director and staff at the Oviedo Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home were so compassionate and empathetic. They helped us through the entire process of losing a loved one. This included free counseling for upto a year for the family, suggestions and different options of how to Memorialize our loved one, and several options for different ways to keep our loved one close. They guided us through the proper protocol and supported us 100%. There was no question too trivial and did everything possible to create the vision we had for our final goodbyes.
Rick Perry, the funeral director, and staff at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral home were so kind and compassionate during our time of need. We had prepaid funeral services and were having our loved one flown to her hometown. Rick Perry handled the arrangements efficiently and with dignity and grace. We will be forever grateful to him. There is no words that can describe the loss of your mother that do not include great sadness and the question, did I do enough, did she know how much I loved her. Did she know I would only give her the best? I will never forget my mother and all the sacrifices she gave to me, my brother and sister. I do know her arrangements through Baldwin-Fairchild were perfect. They took special care of my mother as if she was their mother. They expressed love with every detail that included taking care of me and my family. I cannot thank Miss Connie, the Oviedo funeral hone and with great admiration for Mr. Liam Smith. All of you have both mine and my families eternal gratitude.
Funerals are a difficult time for everyone involved. The members of this funeral home were incredibly kind and warm to our family. Despite us changing things, rearranging things, and being overall lost in how to even go about planning a funeral, the staff was helpful and supportive. They allowed customization to the packages, and allowed us to get everything we asked for. Sally is so kind and sweet every time we called!
