Baldwin Park City Police Department

Our experience with the police has been 100% positive. We have had a few episodes in our business park that required officers to respond. Each time, they have been prompt, professional, courteous and helpful. When you call ANY police department, even the non-emergency number, their goal is to assess and dispatch services as quickly as possible. So yes, they may sound rude, but it's because they are in a massive rush to clear your call so they can go on to the next one. Add to that false alarms, people who call police for non police matters, and other calls that take up needless time, and you still have people who are working hard to take care of you.

Prowler problem at my Parent's home tonight Officer Felton, and Officer Coley Responded, they were very polite, very Thorough, checked everything, made numerous suggestions, made us feel Very safe. Thank you very much. We've lived in Baldwin Park since 1972, And My late Grandparent"s since the 1950's we've only have had good, and positive experiences with our police department. Thank you.

A few of the officers are polite and i dont doubt those ones try very hard to do their job. Unfortunately this city is so corrupt it doesn't want to change anything for the better or make any positive improvements. Someone really needs to intervene asap. The ones who answer the phone are extremely rude & unhelpful. Anything less than a murder they wont take you seriously. Why bother calling? Its funny that so much crime happens literally even next door to the police station and city hall!

Honestly the only reason I give them.one star is cuz officer Rodriguez was really nice and helpful. Unlike detectives and the rest of the department officers no good, not helpful, and more than anything super rude. I was beaten hard by my ex not once did the detective contact me. I had surgery fractured ribs head swollen not including bruises and ear bleeding. I had to go personally to department to learn who my detective was keep in mind I had surgery in leg and fractured ribs in crutches, but I also was the one constantly calling never got calls back. After all this my ex beats me again and again I call police and they show up hours later. So they where useless after hours gone by. My case was rejected due to lack of evidence I guess I have to be dead before they arrest my ex before they ask for evidence.. Thank you Baldwin Park PD for letting me know how you care protect and serve I'll be more than glad to let you know when I'm dead I guess.

My daughter was hit by a car in Baldwin Park crossing the street. May 22nd, 2016. A tan 4 door Sedan was heading North. She had 2 screws in her pelvis, a medal plate in her right elbow, numerous head and leg injuries, road 4 rash on stomach. The cross roads were Main and Clark, apparently no one saw anything or no camera footage. No help from the police, np one checked on her in the hospital. The report says she was stable. She will have life long complications. I know there was some kind cameras or witnesses. I'm disabled myself and i care for her.

I give a 1 star for this reason. I work grave @ USA gas on Puente & Pacific. I cleaned it up here but got one Hispanic dark aprox 6ft, 250lb. He walks the neighborhood prior in shorts & dirty purple Fed Ex sweater now in dark jeans and a blk long sleeve button up dress shirt. Carriers a cell w/ white corded ear phones. Has a LA tattoo at corner of Right eye.

The officers here for the most part lack Integrity, Honesty, and dont care about putting hardships on the people of the community. Instead of protecting and serving, there harassing and lieing to get an arrest. There are a few decent ones especially their female booking she was awesome.

a bugler broke into our family's car through the driver's window. they gained access to the car's trunk. they took cash, a semi-expensive camera, a laptop, and a backpack. we called the police... after an hour the a cop arrived. we were not expecting much. but the cop downgraded the crime as an "incident", not a crime. then he added... paraphrasing: "these are kids acting up. most likely theyre passing through northern bp back to southern bp, i bet they didnt even take anything." around my street, there are about 10 - 20 car break ins a year. and at least once a month you can hear car alarms in the night, or see broken glass on the street in the morning. too bad the BPPD tries to downgrade crimes so the city & their department statistics dont appear negatively. they might be too busy performing illegal checkpoints and towing working people's cars away. ================== 2017 UPDATE: +1 star some middle age creep w/a skateboard was walking inside my neighbors driveway @2am. I called the cops, and within 5 mins two cop cars rolled up. they didnt seem all hyper-paranoid either. as far as I know, they havent caught the guy, but they arrived quick. good job.

They dont do much and are pretty unresponsive. We have a business in the city, we pay our taxes, and do not support others doing the same here. Move to other cities where the police department care when you have problems. Do not bring business to Baldwin Park.

Best every forgot the officer name but was working on my house on olive the officer gave me some great advice about how to keep squatters away thk to Baldwin Park pd and the officers that came to my assistant
