Connecting current and graduated BWU students of the philosophical endeavor to discuss topics of philosophical interest and life.
One purpose of bwphilosophy is to encourage contact, conversation, and professional connections among BWU philosophy students and graduates. Another is to share information, wisdom, perspectives, questions, challenges, and scholarly or intellectual contributions, as these connect to philosophy, to philosophy in its public or social or practical or professional role, or to the specific experiences of current or graduated BWU philosophy students. Perhaps we dare take as our model the philosophical or virtuous friendships exemplified in different ways by Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Epicurus, Montaigne, Spinoza and Nietzsche. Perhaps we dare embrace our role and responsibility as thought-leaders for our time.
