Nearly 55 years ago, a handful of Baltimore County government workers met to discuss how they could help secure a better financial future for the county’s workforce. Chartering a “member-owned, non-profit financial organization,” their vision became a reality on January 15, 1963, and the Baltimore County Employees Federal Credit Union was established. Today, we have nearly 28,000 members and branch locations in Towson, Perry Hall, and on the GBMC Campus.
